    摘要： An adherent cell culture flask is provided. The flask includes a body constructed from a first side wall and a second side wall, each side wall having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The first and second side walls are sealed together to define a chamber. The first side wall is constructed from flexible film and includes on its interior surface a charged surface for facilitating the attachment of cells thereto. The second side wall is constructed from flexible film and includes a non-smooth interior surface for preventing the first side wall interior surface from sticking to the second side wall interior surface.

The container comprises a body constructed from flexible film and defining a containment area for containing the cell culture media, the body including a front face and a back face, the front and back face being sealed to each other along at least three sides thereof. The container includes a fill port for filling the containment area with cell culture media, the port being sealed to a face of the body and being so constructed and arranged that it extends from the face normal thereto. The container is constructed from a high barrier, optically clear, radiation sterilizable film.

    摘要： A rotatable processing bowl assembly adapted for mounting in a centrifuge includes an umbilical tubing system formed of a plurality of individual flexible tubes each of which communicates with the processing bowl. Each tube has an exterior wall and includes a first portion extending adjacently from the bowl and a second portion which is spaced from the bowl. The exterior walls of the tubes are bonded together along their first portions so that the joined exterior walls collectively define the outer periphery of the tubing system along the first portions of the tubes. Preferably, the tubes are also wound to form a predetermined helical pattern along their first portions. This arrangement enhances the tubing system's durability and resistance to fatigue along the bonded together first portions, particularly at higher rotational speeds, and permits direct, facile connection of the free and unattached second portions with external apparatus.

    摘要： A connection of a tubular member with a flexible plastic container includes an aperture in the wall of the flexible plastic container. The tubular member is positioned adjacent the aperture, with the axis of the tubular member being generally parallel to the plane of the aperture. Lateral apertures are defined in the tubular member in communication with the aperture, and an outer wall sealingly surrounds the portion of the tubular member adjacent the aperture to prevent leakage therefrom.
