    摘要: An electrostatic powder spray coating method and apparatus for producing evenly coated continuous films of thermoplastic and thermosetting powders on substrates or parts having electrically conductive geometric complex surfaces and enables the use, without the occurrence of "cobwebbing," of significantly higher charging voltages for the spray gun in the spray coating of preheated substrates and parts, thus allowing faster coating lines. The invention features the use of a grounded electrically conductive ring for grounding the ionized field in the powder discharge region of the spray gun.

    摘要: A method of surface sealing a porous fibrous substrate is provided. According to the method, a porous fibrous substrate possessing a moisture content and a surface with pores is provided. A sealant composition is applied to a surface of the porous fibrous substrate and permitted to penetrate the surface pores of the porous fibrous substrate and undergo cure while participating in a foaming reaction with the moisture content to establish a water-resistant polymeric foam sealant impregnated into the porous fibrous substrate. The water-resistant polymeric foam sealant contains a polyurethane and/or polyurea.

    摘要: A method for removing undesirable material including leukocytes from a biological fluid in an extracorporeal circuit comprises passing a leukocyte containing biological fluid from a patient into a container; passing a portion of biological fluid from the container through a recirculation loop including a filter assembly for removing leukocytes to leukocyte deplete the biological fluid and to pass the portion of leukocyte-depleted biological fluid into the container; passing additional leukocyte containing biological fluid from a patient into the container so that the additional fluid is mixed with leukocyte depleted biological fluid in the container to provide a mixture including leukocyte depleted and non-leukocyte depleted biological fluid; passing the mixture of biological fluid from the container; passing a portion of the mixture to the patient while passing another portion of the mixture through the recirculation loop.

The device further includes actuator, a transmitter and a receiver. The actuator engages the actuating link and selectively moves the actuating link between the first position and the second position. The transmitter transmits operating commands, inputted by the user, to the receiver. The receiver controls the actuator and causes the actuator to selectively move the actuating link between the first position and the second position in response to operating commands from the transmitter.
