摘要： A display panel includes: a first substrate including a gate line and a data line crossing the gate line, a pixel portion formed in a display region and electrically connected to the gate and the data line and a gate driving part formed on a first peripheral region and electrically connected to the gate line; a second substrate having a light blocking layer formed on an area of the second substrate corresponding to the first peripheral region; and a seal line formed between the first substrate and the second substrate to confine a liquid crystal layer therebetween, the seal line being formed in an area outside an outer peripheral edge of the display region, the area outside the outer peripheral edge of the display region being closer to an outer peripheral edge of the light blocking layer than to the outer peripheral edge of the display region.

摘要： A display panel includes n gate lines, a data line, a first pixel and a second pixel. The gate lines extend in a first direction. The data line extends in a second direction transverse to the first direction. The first pixel includes a first pixel electrode connected to one of the (n−1) gate lines to receive a data voltage through the data line. The second pixel includes a second pixel electrode and a light-blocking pattern. The second pixel electrode is connected to the (n)-th gate line to receive the data voltage through the data line. The first light-blocking pattern overlaps with the second pixel electrode to possibly reduce a luminance difference between the first and second pixels.

摘要： A laser irradiation device includes a laser generator for patterning and a laser generator for preheating. A laser induced thermal imaging (LITI) method, includes preparing an acceptor substrate, laminating a donor substrate on the acceptor substrate, and irradiating a laser beam onto a predetermined region of the donor substrate and carrying out transfer using a laser irradiation device having a laser generator for patterning and a laser generator for preheating. Advantageously, a laser beam having high intensity generated by the laser generator for patterning is used to prevent the transfer layer from being degraded, and a laser beam generated by the laser generator for preheating is simultaneously used for preheating so that an edge open failure does not occur and the transfer can be readily carried out even in a portion having a step of the acceptor substrate.

摘要： A flat panel display includes a thin film transistor formed on a substrate; a planarization layer formed on the thin film transistor; a first electrode layer formed on the planarization layer and electrically connected with the thin film transistor through the via hole formed in the planarization layer; a pixel definition layer formed on the planarization layer and in which an opening for at least partially exposing the first electrode layer is formed; an adhesive reinforcement layer formed at least between the planarization layer and the pixel definition layer on the top of the planarization layer; an emitting layer formed on the first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer formed on the emitting layer and the pixel definition layer. The flat panel display has an improved adhesive property between a pixel definition layer and a planarization layer, which prevents a chipping phenomenon of the pixel definition layer.

摘要： Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for acquiring 3D depth information. The apparatus includes a pattern projection unit, an image acquisition unit, and an operation unit. The pattern projection unit projects light, radiated by an infrared light source, into a space in a form of a pattern. The image acquisition unit acquires an image corresponding to the pattern using at least one camera. The operation unit extracts a pattern from the image, analyzes results of the extraction, and calculates information about a 3D distance between objects existing in the space.
