Abstract:
A bio sample processing apparatus and method using vacuum chambers in which a bio sample is injected into a first vacuum chamber connected with one end of a bio processor and, after processing, is ejected into a second vacuum chamber connected with the other end of the bio processor. The vacuum chambers and bio processor are connected with each other to form an environment with a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure, and the bio sample moves toward the second vacuum chamber due to the pressure difference created by the injection of the bio sample into the first vacuum chamber.

The present invention relates to a display apparatus comprising a display panel; a controller to analyze input video data into frequency components, and create first and second video data different in the frequency component from each other on the basis of analyzed results; and a panel driver to drive the created first and second video data to be displayed in sequence as images on the display panel. Thus, the present invention provides a display apparatus and a control method thereof, in which first video data and second video data are created by analyzing a frequency component of input video data and output in sequence, thereby decreasing a motion blur through a simple operation without hardware change.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for detecting bio molecule using an inductor element that can detect the bonding reaction between a sample and a biochip by measuring the change of the electrical characteristics of a circuit including the inductance device. The method includes forming a signal conversion unit with at least one inductance device, arranging a biochip in a specified area of the signal conversion unit by immobilizing capturing probe biomolecules on a substrate and measuring electric characteristics of the signal conversion unit, performing a bonding reaction between a sample (such as DNA, RNA, protein, biomolecules, etc.) to be analyzed and the biochip, and measuring the electrical characteristics of the signal conversion unit after the reaction bonding. The result of the bio molecule detection is obtained through an electrical signal, and thus the capability of detecting the bio bonding reaction can be improved in comparison to the conventional apparatus and method.
Abstract:
A manufacturing process in which a plurality of fluid jetting apparatuses are formed includes forming and sequentially adhering a heat driving part, a membrane and a nozzle part, respectively. The fluid jetting apparatuses are completed as a wafer unit by forming the nozzle part by forming a nozzle plate on a substrate of a wafer by a spinning process; forming jetting fluid barriers on the nozzle plate by the spinning process; forming jetting fluid chambers in the jetting fluid barriers; forming nozzles in the nozzle plate; and separating the substrate from the nozzle plate after the nozzle part and the membrane are adhered to each other. The forming jetting fluid chambers is accomplished by a process of wet etching, and the forming nozzles is accomplished by a treating apparatus of a laser beam or by a process of reactive ion etching.
Abstract:
A motion estimation apparatus and a method considers a correlation between blocks. The motion apparatus includes a full search unit which divides a current frame/field into blocks of predetermined size and estimates an arbitrary motion vector of each block by a full search algorithm; a candidate motion vector estimating unit which computes a plurality of motion prediction error values by applying a block matching algorithm (BMA) to a current block and estimates candidate motion vectors from motion prediction error values below a predetermined threshold; a motion compensating unit which computes a correlation between respective candidate motion vectors and the motion vectors of adjacent blocks and compensates one among the candidate motion vectors to a final motion vector of the current block based on the computed correlation. By estimating motion vector of the current block in consideration of the correlation between the blocks, images free of block artifact can be provided.

Provided are a bio-molecules detecting apparatus using electromagnetic induction and a detecting method using the same. An exemplary apparatus includes: a cantilever of which one end is fixed and the other end is set up to be movable; a first metal formed on a plane of the cantilever and receiving a signal; a bio chip formed in the first metal and having probe biomolecules for searching particular information on a sample to be analyzed; an electromagnetic inductor configured to form a magnetic field; a signal source for applying the signal to the first metal; and a detector for measuring signal values of the first metal before and after the biomolecule is coupled with the sample. The apparatus detects the bio-couple by converting a change in mechanical properties before and after the bio-coupling based on electromagnetic induction to detect a bio-couple.
