摘要: The rotor of a vehicle alternator can firmly fasten the permanent magnets between claw-shaped magnetic poles. The rotor includes a Lundell type iron core having claw-shaped magnetic poles which are alternately arranged and opposed each other and include a centered cylindrical field winding, and a permanent magnet disposed between the claw-shaped magnetic poles for increasing the magnetic field. The permanent magnet is held by radial elastic force.

摘要: An automotive alternator comprises: a stator provided with a stator coil; a rotor supported for rotation in the stator to apply an alternative magnetic field to the stator; a regulator for regulating output; a rectifier for rectifying generated current; a plurality of housings holding the stator and the rotor; and a coolant path through which a coolant flows through at least one of the plurality of housings to transfer heat generated in the stator coil outside the automotive alternator. Fastening devices formed of a material having good heat conductance fasten the regulator and a heatsink for the regulator together to the housing at a position apart from the housing to transfer heat generated by the regulator to the housing. Thus, the automotive alternator can maintain a stable cooling ability in a hot atmosphere for a long time.

摘要: An alternator for a vehicle includes a stator having a stator winding, a rotor opposing to the stator through a gap, a rectifier for converting AC power generated by the stator winding into DC power, a frame which holds the stator and has a cooling medium path at least one end thereof being opened, and an end plate for hermetically closing the opened end of the cooling medium path, whereina cathode side rectifying element constituting the rectifier is fixed to a portion of the end plate not opposing to the cooling medium path, and a cooling member, at which an anode side rectifying element constituting the rectifier is fixed, is fixed to the end plate in an insulated state so that the anode side rectifying element is disposed at a position lower in temperature than a fixed position where the cathode side rectifying element is disposed.

摘要: To reduce noise, there is provided an alternator for motor vehicles having a rotor and a stator which is mounted between a pair of brackets. In the alternator a stator core forming the stator is made up of laminations of thin sheets. And at least a part of the thin sheets making up the stator core are split into four divisions or more in the circumferential direction; the thin sheets of each layer being laid with splits thereof arranged alternately in the circumferential direction.

摘要: It is made easy for a stator winding to be wound around a stator core and degradation in efficiency is prevented as much as possible. A stator (6) includes a plurality of phases, i.e., of circumferentially divided stator magnetic poles (6a, 6b, 6c). The stator magnetic poles (6a, 6b, 6c) are each composed of an arcuate stator core (13) having a plurality of axially extending claw poles (16b) and a circumferentially elliptically wound stator winding (14). The stator magnetic poles (6a, 6b, 6c) are magnetically divided; therefore, magnetic flux leakage is reduced to improve efficiency. Air flowing between the stator magnetic poles (6a, 6b, 6c) can improve a cooling effect.

摘要: An alternator for use in an automobile includes brackets for supporting a rotation shaft at both sides of a rotor, being thermally connected to a stator for supporting the stator, while one side of the rotor is closed by a bracket. A cooling water passage is provided in the bracket, a cooling fan is provided on the closed side of the rotor, and a cooling fin provided opposing to the cooling fan and in vicinity of the cooling water passage, thereby enabling cool down of the stator and the rotor, effectively, with low noises, and thereby obtaining a high power output.

The vehicle driving apparatus comprises a first and a second generators driven by an engine for driving front wheels, and a motor driven by receiving a power supply from the second generator to drive rear wheels, the first and second generators being installed in the vicinity of an engine within an engine room, the motor being arranged in the vicinity of a differential gear with which a reduction mechanism is integrated and is positioned substantially in a central part of the rear wheels.
