    Abstract: A control device for a selectable one-way clutch includes a pocket plate; a notch plate rotating relative to the pocket plate; a selector plate between the pocket plate and the notch plate rotating coaxially with the notch plate to change between a state allowing engagement members to pass through respective openings and to stand up from a side close to the pocket plate toward a side close to the notch plate and a state allowing the housing recesses to house the engagement members; and a motion detection unit detecting a motion of the selector plate. Further, when an unintended motion of the selector plate is detected, the pocket plate and the notch plate to rotate differentially at a rotation speed equal to or less than a predetermined absolute value, and the selectable one-way clutch to fall into a state of ratchet or into a state of overrun.

    Abstract: A headlight control device provided in a vehicle to perform headlight control and to control a distribution of light irradiated from a light source is provided. The headlight control device includes: a determination unit that determines a presence and an absence of an obstacle in front of the vehicle and determines a position of the obstacle; a setting unit that sets up an area covering the obstacle as an intensified illumination area when the determination unit determines the presence of the obstacle, wherein the intensified illumination area is an area to which the light from the light source is irradiated in a manner different than a peripheral area of the intensified illumination area; and a controller that controls the distribution of the light irradiated from the light source so that the intensified illumination area set up by the setting unit has an illuminated zone and a non-illuminated zone.

    Abstract: A release mechanism includes a clutch, a bearing, a hydraulic actuator, and a return spring. The clutch transmits a torque between an input-side rotational member and an output-side rotational member by pressing the pressure plate against a clutch disc by an elastic force of a diaphragm spring. The bearing transmits a load in a direction in which a pressure plate is separated from the clutch disc. The bearing is placed on an outer peripheral side of the hydraulic actuator in a radial direction of the output-side rotational member. The hydraulic actuator transmits, to the bearing, a load to separate the pressure plate from the clutch disc.     Abstract: A one-way clutch includes a first rotational member, a second rotational member, and a first rotational body. The second rotational member has plural first through holes in which bolts are inserted. A dimension of the first through hole in a circumferential direction is larger than a dimension of the first through hole in a radial direction.
