    摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling torque delivery independently, i.e., asymmetrically, to the two rear axles and wheels of a vehicle with front wheel drive provides improved vehicle handling and performance. The apparatus includes a prime mover, transaxle, power takeoff, rear axle having a pair of independently controllable modulating clutches driving respective rear axle and wheels, various vehicle sensors and a microprocessor. The method, embodied in software in the microprocessor, senses wheel speeds, yaw rate, lateral acceleration, throttle position and steering wheel angle, determines various reference values and oversteer and understeer conditions and activates one or both of the two clutches.

    摘要: A twin clutch controlling apparatus includes a clutch actuator for controlling a twin clutch TCL, and a manual operation clutch capacity arithmetic operation section for converting an operation amount of a clutch lever L into an electric signal to arithmetically operate a manual operation clutch capacity arithmetic operation value (tqc1tmt) corresponding to the manual operation. The twin clutch controlling apparatus is configured so as to accept a changeover from an Auto mode to a Temp mode in response to an operation of the clutch lever L. When an operation of the clutch lever L is detected during automatic control in the Auto mode, an event that the manual operation clutch capacity arithmetic operation value (tqc1tmt) comes to have a value similar to that of the clutch capacity (tqc1at) calculated in the Auto mode is included in conditions for a changeover to the Temp mode to occur.

    摘要: This apparatus is provided with a clutch mechanism 14. The clutch mechanism 14 is interposed between an engine 11 and a transmission 15, and is coupled to a clutch pedal 28. An operating mode of the clutch mechanism 14 changes in conjunction with a change of an operating position of the clutch pedal 28. In the case that an execution condition is met, the apparatus lowers a maximum operating speed of the clutch mechanism 14 in comparison with a state in which an execution condition is not met. The execution condition includes the following execution start condition that “the operating position of the clutch pedal 28 is a position setting the clutch mechanism 14 to a disengaged state, and a changing speed of the operating position of the clutch pedal 28 in an engaging direction at a time of setting the clutch mechanism 14 to an engaged state from the disengaged state is equal to or higher than a predetermined starting speed”.
