Abstract: A lane change support apparatus includes an electronic control unit configured to, when it is recognized that there is an abnormality in a driver of a host vehicle, determine whether or not lane change is possible. The electronic control unit is configured to determine that the lane change is possible when a vehicle speed of the host vehicle is lower than a predetermined upper limit speed, a following vehicle present closest to the host vehicle has stayed in a rear guard vehicle approval range for a predetermined time or longer, and a vehicle is not present in a lane change allowance gap.

Abstract: In an electronic control unit, a traveling mode switching control unit switches a traveling mode from an N mode to a B mode when a shift lever is operated to a B operation position while the traveling mode is the N mode and the vehicle is traveling forward. Accordingly, during forward coast traveling in the N mode, the traveling mode is switched from the N mode to the B mode by an operation in one direction of the shift lever to a B operation position without requiring operations in two directions of the shift lever to a D operation position. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent a driver from experiencing difficulty in operating the shift lever at the time of switching the traveling mode from the N mode to the B mode during forward coast traveling in the N mode.

Abstract: A vehicle includes an electric power reception unit, a motive power generation apparatus generating on an output shaft a drive force for moving the vehicle, and a vehicle ECU controlling the motive power generation apparatus. The motive power generation apparatus includes a parking gear provided on the output shaft, a parking pole having a protrusion to be fit in a groove of the parking gear, and a drive unit outputting the drive force. The vehicle ECU controls the drive unit so that in a case where the electric power reception unit is located within an area in which electric power can be received from the electric power transmission apparatus and where the motive power generation apparatus has been set to a parking range, the vehicle is moved in a direction that causes the electric power reception unit to approach the electric power transmission apparatus.
