摘要: Assistance can be provided to AV users through projection of graphical figures. A system may receive a request for assistance from a user of an AV. The system assigns the request to an agent who can assist the user. The system further provides a graphical representation (e.g., an avatar) of the agent to a device that can project the graphical representation to the user. The user can have a conversation with the graphical representation, e.g., based on information provided by the agent. The system can also provide an audio filter to the device for modifying an audio content presented by the device so that the modified audio content appears as if it is made by the graphical representation. The device may be a part of the AV or a client device of the user that can present VR, AR, or MR content. The device may be mobile.

摘要: Provided is a system and method for controlling a vehicle. The vehicle control system includes an input unit configured to collect driving situation data and driver's state data, a memory configured to store a program for determining a driving pattern using the driving situation data and the driver's state data in the case of an autonomous driving mode, and a processor configured to execute the program. The processor learns the driving situation data and the driver's state data to determine a driver's preferred driving pattern and transmit an autonomous driving control command according to the driving pattern.

摘要: Methods and systems autonomously parking and retrieving vehicles are disclosed. Available parking spaces or parking facilities may be identified, and the vehicle may be navigated to an available space from a drop-off location without passengers. Special-purpose sensors, GPS data, or wireless signal triangulation may be used to identify vehicles and available parking spots. Upon a user request or a prediction of upcoming user demand, the vehicle may be retrieved autonomously from a parking space. Other vehicles may be autonomously moved to facilitate parking or retrieval.

摘要: There is provided an apparatus and a method that allows appropriate pulling over of a mobile object to a safe road shoulder when an emergency occurs during automated driving. A travelable region available for a vehicle to travel is set like an occupancy map based on distance information from a depth sensor. Image attribute information is generated from an image by semantic segmentation. An evacuation space is set in the travelable region based on the image attribute information that represents the situation of the road surface of the travelable region, and thus an evacuation space map is created.

摘要: A control unit performs switching control, in automatic driving of a vehicle, between a first automatic driving state of an automatic driving level 2 or lower with manual driving or surrounding monitoring obligation, and a second automatic driving state of an automatic driving level 4 or higher with no surrounding monitoring obligation and allowing sleep, depending on a road on which the vehicle travels. When the control unit determines that a driver is in an asleep state based on a detection result of a detection unit in the second automatic driving state, the control unit performs acceleration control to adjust second vehicle speed in the second automatic driving state to be higher than first vehicle speed in the first automatic driving state, equal to the first vehicle speed, or lower than the first vehicle speed and higher than the second vehicle speed in a current state.

摘要: A method for transferring a motor vehicle from an autonomous driving mode, in which the motor vehicle is guided autonomously, into a manual driving mode, in which the motor vehicle is guided by a vehicle driver. In the method, pieces of information for supporting the transfer are ascertained with the aid of a cognitive model of the vehicle driver, the cognitive model describing at least one perception process of the vehicle driver with respect to a driving situation and at least one decision-making process of the driver with respect to an action option. A device configured for executing the method is also described.
