    摘要: A high-efficiency fillet welding method for conducting, without edge preparation, T-shape fillet welding of thick steel webs having a C content not more than 0.21 wt %. The welding is conducted by using a leading electrode (L) and a trailing electrode (T) composed of wires of about 4.8 to 6.4 mm diameter and containing C in an amount which meets the condition of formula (1), as well as 1.50 to 2.50 wt % of Mn. The welding is executed in such a manner that the ratio I.sub.T /I.sub.L of the current I.sub.T supplied to the trailing electrode (T) to the current I.sub.L supplied to the leading electrode (L) ranges from 0.75 to 1.00. The flux used in the welding is a bonded flux containing 60 to 91 wt % in total of SiO.sub.2, MgO and CaO, 5 to 30 wt % in total of TiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and CaF.sub.2, 2 to 8 wt % of metal powder, said flux containing a carbonate gas-forming component in an amount to generate 2 to 10 wt % of gases by thermal decomposition of said carbonate during welding, and the balance incidental impurities, the flux having a bulk specific gravity of 0.80 to 1.20 g/cm.sup.3 :0.39C.sub.WIRE 0.39C.sub.WEB +0.22C.sub.FLANGE .ltoreq.0.135 (1)whereC.sub.WIRE is the C content of the wire (wt %),C.sub.WEB is the C content of the web (wt %) and is .ltoreq.0.21, andC.sub.FLANGE is the C content of the flange (wt %) and is .ltoreq.0.21.

    摘要: By subjecting a hide which has completed beamhouse work to a pickling treatment in the presence of urotropin (hexamethylenetetramine) and then to a chrome-tanning treatment, pH control of chrome-tanning bath becomes simpler and easier, the combination between hide and basic chrome complex increases, and the amount of residual chromium in the waste water can be minimized. Further, by treating the formed leather which has completed tanning treatment with ammonia or ammonium salt of weak acid in the chrome bath after use, the workability in the finishing steps improves, quality of the leather additionally improves, and the chromium content of the residual solution can be made nearly zero.

    摘要: A catalyst for removal of nitrogen oxides which shows extremely good catalytic activity and is excellent in durability and is low in the activity of oxidizing SO.sub.2 into SO.sub.3 be prepared at a low cost by impregnating a titanium oxide carrier with a vanadium sulfate, a vanadyl sulfate or a mixture thereof and then reacting a mixed gas consisting of 0.05 to 100% by mole of ammonia and 99.95 to 0% by mole of an inert gas which is inert to both ammonia and vanadium and vanadyl sulfates with the impregnated carrier while the reaction mixture is maintained at a temperature of 300.degree. to 520.degree. C., and preferably 370.degree. to 450.degree. C., or by shaping a mixture of titanium oxide and a vanadium sulfate, a vanadyl sulfate or a mixture thereof into a desired shape and then reacting a mixed gas consisting of 0.05 to 100% by mole of ammonia and 99.95 to 0% by mole of an inert gas which is inert to both ammonia and vanadium and vanadyl sulfates with the shaped mixture while the reaction mixture is maintained at a temperature of 300.degree. to 520.degree. C., and preferably 370.degree. to 450.degree. C.
