    摘要: A sliding bearing has a back metal made of a copper alloy which has a high followability with respect to deformation of a light alloy housing, and with this construction, the sliding bearing is excellent in fretting resistance and migration resistance. The multi-layer sliding bearing for a light alloy housing includes an aluminum alloy bearing layer, and a back metal layer, the back metal layer being made of a copper alloy which has a thermal expansion coefficient of not less than 15.times.10.sup.-6 /.degree.C., a 0.2% yield strength of not less than 295 N/mm.sup.2 and a heat transfer coefficient of not less than 0.40 Cal/cm.cndot.sec.cndot..degree.C. A Pb-alloy overlay layer can be formed on the bearing layer. A bonding layer can be formed between the bearing layer and the back metal layer. A flash plating layer can be formed on an entire surface of the bearing. When a large interference is not obtained, or under sever conditions as when the temperatures of the bearing and the lubricating oil rise in a high-speed range of the internal combustion engine or as when the inertia force of the housing increases, an excellent bearing performance is achieved by the sliding bearing of the present invention.

    摘要: A slide bearing which is preferably used in combination with a low-rigid aluminum alloy housing. The slide bearing has a high coefficient of thermal expansion so that it can satisfactorily follow up deformation of the housing, and the bearing also has an excellent heat radiation property. In the slide bearing, an overly bearing layer having a thickness of 3 to 50 .mu.m is provided on a copper alloy layer having a coefficient of thermal expansion of 15.times.10.sup.-6 /.degree.C. or more, a coefficient of thermal conductivity of 0.40 cal/cm sec .degree.C. or more and 0.2% proof stress of 295N/mm.sup.2 or more. As occasion demands, the slide bearing may be (1) provided with an intermediate layer between the copper alloy layer and the overlay bearing layer, or (2) flash-plated on an entirety surface of the bearing.

    摘要: A copper base alloy suitable for use as a material of a sliding member, superior in seizure resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The alloy comprises 1.0 to 3.5 wt % Mn, 0.3 to 1.5 wt % Si, 11.5 to 25 wt % Zn, 5 to 18 wt % Pb and the balance substantially Cu and incidental impurities, the lead being uniformly distributed through the structure of the alloy. The alloy has a microstructure of which matrix is composed of .alpha.-phase alone. The alloy can further contain at least one selected from the group consisting of 0.02 to 1.5 wt % Mg and 0.1 to 1.5 wt % Te and/or at least one selected from the group consisting of 0.5 to 3.0 wt % Ni and 0.3 to 3.0 wt % Al.

    摘要: A wear-resistant copper alloy containing 1.2 to 8.5% Mn, 0.3 to 2.5% Si, 3.0 to 8.0% Al, 20 to 40% Zn, 0.05% to 1.5% Te, and the balance of Cu and unavoidable impurities. The alloy includes other variations based on by adding (1) 0.5 to 3% Ni, (2) 0.5 to 13% Pb, (3) 0.5 to 3% Ni and 0.5 to 13% Pb or (4) 0.5 to 13% Pb and 0.02 to 1.5% Mg. Lead provides the self-lubricating property to the alloy. Magnesium disperses lead finely and uniformly in the alloy.

    摘要: A copper-alloy slide bearing for a low-rigidity housing having a three-layer structure of a steel back-metal, a copper-alloy layer and an overlay, the back metal containing 0.03 to 0.26% by weight of carbon. During the production of the slide bearing, a bimetal is prepared in such a manner that a back-metal portion is rolled at a total rolling reduction of 10 to 35%, and the resultant bimetal is heat-treated at a relatively low temperature, so that the slide bearing includes a back metal having a 0.01% elastic limit of not less than 300 N/mm.sup.2. When the copper-alloy slide bearing is used in a low-rigidity housing of an internal combustion engine, the slide bearing is capable of more excellently following the deformation of the housing, as well as capable of providing more excellent intimate contact and more excellent fretting resistance, than a conventional multi-layer slide bearing.

    摘要: A Cu-based wear-resistant alloy of a sliding material consists essentially of, by weight, 10-35% Zn, 2-20% Pb, 1-10% Ni, 0.1-1% B and, as required, 0.5-10% of Sn. The alloy can be used under severe conditions of use at elevated speed and temperature with reduced risk of seizure and corrosion. The alloy can be produced by mixing Pb powder and Ni--B alloy powder with Cu--Zn powder or Cu--Zn--Sn alloy powder, or mixing Ni--B alloy powder with Cu--Zn--Pb alloy powder or Cu--Zn--Sn--Pb alloy powder. The alloy can be compacted and sintered to form a sliding member or a composite sliding member is obtained by sintering and integrating the alloy on a steel backing plate optionally having a surface plated with copper.
