Abstract:
A refrigerator, which includes an ice making compartment, an ice making device arranged in the ice making compartment, and an ice making tray provided at the ice making device and configured to receive and retain water to be frozen to make ice. The refrigerator also includes a cold air inlet provided at the ice making compartment and configured to allow cold air to be introduced into the cold air compartment, and a cold air guide configured to guide cold air from the cold air inlet toward the ice making tray.
Abstract:
A refrigerator and a control method thereof, in which an ice making speed is controlled. A selected ice-making operation mode may be determined, and, based on the determination of the selected ice-making operation mode, an internal temperature of the ice making compartment may be controlled to an appropriate temperature. For instance, an operation rate of a cold air fan and/or a rotating speed of the cold air fan may be controlled.
Abstract:
A refrigerator and a control method thereof are disclosed. A refrigerator is able to supply water preserved in a cool state to an ice maker. The refrigerator includes an ice-making chamber, an icemaker provided in the ice-making chamber, a dispenser for dispensing water, and a water tank connected to the dispenser and the icemaker. The water tank stores water in a cool state.
Abstract:
A laundry machine, more particularly, a dryer is disclosed. A dryer includes a cabinet, a drum in which a drying object is held, a steam generation device to supply steam to the drum, a water supply device to supply water to the steam generation device in order to generate steam, an additive holding part in which an additive is held, and an additive supply device to supply the additive held in the additive holding part to the drum.
Abstract:
An image display system and a display method thereof are provided. The image display system includes an optical disc having image information thereon, an image display device having extended display identification data (EDID), and a reproduction device to analyze the EDID to determine an interface to connect with the image display device, if the image information is three-dimensional (3D) image information, and instruct the image display device to output an alarm text, if the interface is an analog. When the interface is an analog interface, the reproduction device may output an analog two-dimensional (2D) image or 3D image through the image display device. Even when the image display device and the reproduction device are interconnected via an analog interfaces, a 2D or 3D image may be output based on the 3D image information.
Abstract:
An icemaker and a refrigerator having an icemaker are discussed. The icemaker has pulse-electrothermal ice release and includes an ice-making tray having several ice forming portions in which water is stored and ice is formed; and a housing surrounding the ice-making tray provided with at least one cold air inlet and/or ice ejection port through which cold air is supplied and ice released along a bent channel. The cold air inlet and/or ice ejection ports are baffled to prevent contact with a user's fingers and thereby reduce the possibility of electric shock.
Abstract:
An ice tray is provided that prevents the overflow or splashing of water or thin ice out of the ice tray as water is supplied to the ice tray, or when the ice tray is shaken by an external force. The ice tray may include a plurality of receiving portions that receive water for freezing into ice pieces. An overflow preventing portion may extend upward from upper edges of the receiving portions to form a barrier to water flowing out of the ice tray. Alternatively, the receiving parts may be positioned within a corresponding plurality of location parts having water proofing walls extending upward therefrom to inhibit the unintentional flow of water or thin ice out of the receiving portions of the ice tray.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a semiconductor light-emitting device generating light by recombination of electrons and holes. The semiconductor light-emitting device includes: a first bonding electrode and a second bonding electrode supplying the current for the recombination of the electrons and holes; a first branch electrode and a second branch electrode extended from the first bonding electrode; and a third branch electrode extended from the second bonding electrode, located between the first branch electrode and the second branch electrode, and having a first interval from the first branch electrode and a second interval smaller than the first interval from the second branch electrode. The second branch electrode is located farther from the center of the light-emitting device than the first branch electrode, and the second branch electrode is located farther from the center of the light-emitting device than the third branch electrode.
Abstract:
A fabric treating machine according to the present invention comprises a connector which is disposed at an outer tub and is connected to a driving part which is disposed at either the center or the off-center position of the connector optionally. Therefore, not only the direct driving motor but the indirect driving motor can be disposed without change of the outer tub and the connector. Because the common use of the outer tub is possible regardless of the connecting method of the driving part, there are the advantages that the cost is reduced and productivity and assembly are improved.
Abstract:
An embodiment relates to a dish washer. A dish washer according to an embodiment comprises: a tub that defines a space for washing dishes; a water supply unit that has a water chamber where water supplied from the outside collects, to wash the dishes; a sump that is supplied with water from the water chamber and supplies wash water into the tub; and a heat exchange passage through which the wash water in the sump flows and exchanges heat with the water in the water chamber while flowing.
