摘要: An optical element for X-ray includes a substrate, a first multilayer film having a reflection property with respect to light in a soft X-ray wavelength range, and a second multilayer film, disposed between the substrate and the first multilayer film, for reducing film stress of the first multilayer film. The second multilayer film has a periodic structure having a unit period film thickness which is 90% or more and less than 110% of a two or more integral multiple of 7 nm.

摘要: An optical device that includes a low refractive index film is produced at a low cost. To attain this object, in a process of producing an optical device that includes a multilayer film in which low refractive index films and high refractive index films are alternately laminated, a porous film is formed on a substrate by a sputtering deposition system which uses a target unit. The porous film is immersed in a liquid to lower the refractive index of the film. By forming in simple steps a low refractive index film that is lower in refractive index than conventionally used films, a high quality optical device can be obtained at a low cost.

摘要: An isolator for cultivating cells including a working chamber having a plurality of gloves arranged side by side into which operator's hands are inserted to operate cells, the working chamber being sectioned into at least an operation area for operating the cells, and an auxiliary working area for opening a packaged auxiliary instrument used to operate the cells, a gas supply unit that supplies gas into the working chamber so that the gas flows downwardly from an upper side in the working chamber, and a gas flow control unit for controlling the flow of the downwardly flowing gas so that the gas flows from the operation area to the auxiliary working area around the gloves, wherein the gas flow control unit has an exhaust hole portion that has an opened area for passing the gas therethrough and is provided at a lower portion of at least the auxiliary working area, and through which the gas in the auxiliary working area is exhausted.

摘要: An antenna apparatus has a ground plane and a traveling-wave linear antenna The ground plane has a dielectric layer and metallic plates disposed on the dielectric layer. The plates placed on a front side of the ground plane act as a band gap surface. The dielectric constant and thickness of the dielectric layer, the number of plates and the width of spaces among the plates are adjusted, so that the band gap surface prevents propagation of electromagnetic waves within a specific frequency band. The antenna is disposed over the band gap surface on the front side of the ground plane to be spaced away from the band gap surface. The antenna radiates electromagnetic waves of an operational frequency within the specific frequency band in response to an alternating current of the operational frequency fed to the linear antenna.

The radio absorbing device is attached to the rear surface of the substrate.
