    摘要: A radar imaging apparatus includes: (i) a delay code generation unit which repeats, for M scan periods, scan processing of generating, using a transmission code, N delay codes in a scan period for scanning N range gates having mutually different distances from the radar imaging apparatus; (ii) a signal storage unit which stores, in association with a range gate and a scan period, a baseband signal; (iii) a memory control unit which repeatedly writes, in the signal storage unit, for the M scan periods, N demodulated signals corresponding to a single scan period, and reads out a group of M demodulated signals corresponding to mutually different scan periods; (iv) a Doppler frequency discrimination unit which performs frequency analysis on demodulated signals having the same range gate; and (v) a direction of arrival calculation unit which estimates a direction of a target.

    摘要: The range finder includes a transmitting unit (71) which emits a transmitted wave (75) spread using a spread code at a constant chip rate, a receiving unit (72) which receives a reflected wave (76), a correlation unit (73) which calculates a correlation waveform indicating delay time and a correlation between the transmitted wave (75) and the reflected wave (76), and a distance calculation unit (74) which calculates, from a peak position in the waveform, a distance to the object. The correlation unit (73) calculates the correlation waveform obtained when changing the delay time for each range gate. The distance calculation unit (74) calculates the distance to the object by calculating, at a resolution finer than the range gate, a delay time corresponding to the peak in the correlation wave using a highest-correlation point and an adjacent higher-correlation point in the wave form.

    摘要: A rotor having a cylindrical peripheral surface is disposed in a treatment vessel into which a carrier gas is introduced, and the rotor peripheral surface is opposed to the surface of a substrate with a predetermine gap therebetween. Film-forming particulates including atomic molecules of the film-forming material and cluster particulates thereof are scattered from the surface of the film-forming material supplying member by sputtering, and the rotor is rotated to form a carrier gas flow near the rotor peripheral surface. The film-forming particulates are transported to the vicinity of the surface of the substrate by the carrier gas flow and adhered to the surface of the substrate. As a result, the adverse effect of high-energy particles and the like is suppressed to efficiently form a satisfactory thin film by an evaporation or sputtering process, which has less restriction to a source material gas, without the need for large equipment.

    摘要: A magnetic powder for magnetic recording medium comprises acicular particles constituted primarily of Fe, wherein the powder contains Co in an amount such that the Co/Fe ratio is 50 at. % or less and the Co is contained in a manner such that the surface portion has a higher concentration than the core portion of the particles, and upon subjecting the magnetic powder for magnetic recording medium to TG measurement, the powder exhibits at least two oxidation starting points: a low-temperature side oxidation starting point and a high-temperature side oxidation starting point. The magnetic powder achieves improved resistance to oxidation without sacrificing magnetic characteristics.
