    摘要: An optical disk includes a recording region formed on a substrate for recording user data, and a management region formed on the substrate which includes an identification information region for recording disk-specific identification information such as address information (ID), a SYNC code, or an error detection code (EDC). The identification information region in this optical disk has a flat portion (a mirror region) formed by means of sectioning part of a groove or a land in a given step. The disk-specific identification information is recorded on the identification information region inclusive of this mirror region as irreversible record marks. Moreover, a signal of the disk-specific identification information is detected by a laser beam which is servoed on the recording track of this optical disk. Then, a change in the detected signal level of the disk-specific identification information is detected based on a predetermined threshold level.

    摘要: An information-recording medium of write once or rewritable type designed to have narrow tracks is provided, in which the wobble signal amplitude is scarcely fluctuated by crosstalk. The medium includes recording tracks formed in a spiral form and meandering at a predetermined wobble cycle T, and a plurality of zones constituting each of the recording tracks, each of the zones having a principal area formed to have a predetermined wobble phase. A relationship of T>80b holds between the wobble cycle T and a channel bit length b of recording data. The wobble phase of one of the recording tracks is adjusted so that an average phase difference d is d>π/2 between the wobble phase in the principal area in the zone and a wobble phase of an area in the recording track disposed adjacently on an inner circumferential side or an outer circumferential side of the principal area, in relation to all of the recording tracks disposed adjacently in the radial direction.

    摘要: A high density optical recording medium having wide-width grooves capable of reliable tracking is provided. The optical recording medium is formed with the wide-width grooves 12 in which a width g of the groove 12 is larger than a width L of a land between the grooves. An angle of inclination of a groove side wall is represented by .theta., and the refractive index of the substrate is represented by n. Even when the width L and the height h of the land is changed due to any optical blur, the disturbance of diffracted light from a land shoulder 19 is suppressed, making it possible to obtain a stable track position control signal.

    摘要: In the present invention, through the provision of a tray placing rack for storing trays in multi steps, the trays accommodating electronic parts after inspection are received in the racks and through the provision of a tray stacking rack above the tray placing rack, an empty tray emptied by having been inspected of the electronic parts before inspection at an inspection stage is stacked on the tray stacking rack. When a certain tray is filled with electronic parts after inspection and is discharged, an empty ray is taken out from the tray stacking rack and the empty tray is fed to the rack position of the discharged tray to permit re-use of empty trays.

The substrate includes a distribution of the amount of birefringence in a recording area of the substrate to cancel out the birefringence derived from a stress generated by rotating the substrate; a push-pull signal obtained by an optical spot at a wavelength of 405 nm being 0.2 or more, when the substrate rotates at a constant linear velocity and the number of revolutions 6,000 rpm; and a ratio of the maximum value to the minimum value (maximum value/minimum value) in the push-pull signal being 2.0 or less.
