    摘要: A high voltage capacitor current monitor that attaches to a bushing on the exterior of a capacitor container (commonly referred to as a “can”). The capacitor current monitor, which draws operating power from the power line, detects the current flowing through the high voltage capacitor and can be used as part of a capacitor status monitor to detect internal failures down to the level of a single capacitor pack. The monitor may include a radio transmitter and/or a visual status indicator, such as an electronic flag, indicating the detection of a fault or capacitor failure. The current monitor may also include a power supply current transformer providing power to the monitor from the power line. Capacitor current measurements may be communicated with a remote transmission unit (RTU), which communicates with a central control station that schedules capacitor maintenance based on the data received from the status monitors.

    摘要: A razor including an elongated shaving cartridge that has at least one blade with a blade edge extending along a transversal axis. The razor includes a razor handle with a handle body having a hollow housing with an opening at its front end and a cartridge carrier that carries the shaving cartridge and is slidably mounted on the handle body between shaving and non-shaving positions. The razor handle also includes an actuator rotatably mounted on the handle body for controlling cartridge carrier motions, and a transmission mechanism that converts actuator rotation into a sliding motion of the cartridge carrier. The opening of the handle body is elongated, with a length sufficient to accommodate the shaving cartridge with the blade edge extending along the transversal axis. In both the shaving and non-shaving positions, and while between the shaving and non-shaving positions, the shaving cartridge extends parallel to the transversal axis.

The present invention includes a power supply configured to regulate electrical input power to a MEMS thermal actuator in order to provide the maximum possible electrical input power. Accordingly, the present invention provides a maximum actuator displacement while preventing device failure from over powering. The present invention utilizes resistivity versus temperature properties for silicon or the like to provide a self-regulating power supply that can be utilized to power a variety of MEMS components without requiring custom actuator control circuits for each type of component.
