The personal computer receives the picture data and the E-mail address data transferred from the digital camera via an I/O port or an infrared communication unit. The received picture data is then transmitted to a destination terminal on a computer network on the basis of the received E-mail address data.

摘要: A cutting insert wherein cutting edges are formed on a pair of ridge portions of an upper surface and a pair of ridge portions on a lower surface in a staggered position relative to the ridge portions of the upper surface in a direction along the peripheries of the upper and lower surfaces. Rakes are formed on side surfaces of the insert body connecting to the cutting edges. Each rake has an inclination such as to be closer to a center of the upper or lower surface at a position remoter from the corresponding cutting edge. Each rake is formed of a curved surface which is formed along the side connecting to the cutting edge and which is curved along the peripheral direction so as to round out in an outward direction from the insert body, and a flat surface which obtusely intersects the curved surface and connect to a ridge portion opposite from the cutting edge formed along on the side of the rake. The positions and the shapes of the curved surface portions and the cutting edges are determined on the basis of the flat surfaces and the upper and lower surfaces. The insert can be prevented from shifting and the working accuracy can be improved by accurately forming the cutting edges and other portions.

Change in the distance between the holder and the target member caused by expansion or contraction of the stacked piezoelectric element and indicative of a change in the link stroke can be detected by the capacitance type displacement gage.

摘要: A throw-away cutting tool is disclosed. The tool body of the cutting tool consists of a rod-like shank and a bit mounting component arranged at the front end of the shank. The shank is made of cemented carbide, and is formed with a mounting wall extending toward the front end of the tool body. The bit mounting component is made of steel or sintered metal, and is formed with a bit mounting seat defined by a bottom wall and side walls. In the above cutting tool, high resistance against the cutting force produced by cutting operation can be obtained and separation of the shank and the bit mounting component can be prevented; and high rigidity of the tool body is ensured, the damping capacity of the tool body is increased, and therefore vibration and chatter of the cutting tool can be effectively prevented.

摘要: A low section profile pneumatic radial tire for heavy vehicles used for recently developed transport facilities such as a trolley bus, mono-rail vehicle, driverless vehicle, sub-way vehicle, etc. is disclosed. The low section profile pneumatic radial tire for heavy vehicles is constructed to satisfy the following three conditions, i.e.1. a thickness Gm of that tread portion which extends along a crown center region SW2 is substantially uniformly distributed over 35-60% of the maximum width SW1 of those inextensible layers which mainly consist of a tension member of a belt,2. a cushion rubber formed of a rubber stock which is triangular in cross-section and has a thickness Gs is arranged outside both sides of the center region of a crown and inserted between a carcass and a belt so as to gradually increase the thickness of the tread portion toward the hump portion of the tire, and3. the above mentioned thickness Gs of the cushion rubber is limited to a range of 25-50%, preferably 30-45% of the thickness Gc of that tread portion which is located at the crown center position.

摘要: In a toothed belt including at least one positioning-aiding/position-identifying tooth and a large number of driven teeth engageable with a driving toothed pulley, the positioning-aiding/position-identifying tooth is formed in a predetermined positioning area of the toothed belt and has a different shape from that of each of the driven teeth. The total amount of rubber used in the positioning-aiding/position-identifying tooth is set to equal an assumptive total amount of rubber in one or more imaginary driven teeth that could be formed in the predetermined positioning area if the positioning-aiding/position-identifying tooth was not formed in that area, and the amount of backing rubber used in a portion right behind the positioning-aiding/position-identifying tooth is set to be equal to or greater than an assumptive amount of backing in a portion right behind the imaginary driven teeth.

摘要: The invention relates to a cutting insert. The cutting insert has a polygonal tabular body having a main cutting edge and a sub-cutting edge. A rake surface connected to the main cutting edge and the sub-cutting edge is composed of a plurality of consecutive component surfaces so as to present a multi-face surface which is curved and convex along the circumference of the body. The consecutive component surfaces are demarcated from adjacent component surfaces by edges lines L.sub.1, L.sub.2 which at their one end reach the main cutting edge. The intersection angles at which the component surfaces intersect the end surface connected to the main cutting edge are so varied in a stepped manner that the intersection angle of the component surface most remote from the nose portion is the smallest. The third component surface is curved along the circumference of the body so as to be convex outward, so that the portion of the main cutting edge associated with this component surface is also curved to be convex outward.
