摘要: Radiator caps (266) and radiator tubes (211) are heat brazed with an ingot Z of a sacrificial material being disposed in the interior of a radiator tank main body (234), whereby, as the ingot Z of the sacrificial material is heated while being surrounded by the radiator tank main body (234), the evaporated sacrificial material is allowed to adhere to internal surfaces of the radiator tank main body (234) relatively uniformly, the sacrificial material so adhering to the internal surfaces being then allowed to be radiated into aluminum constituting the radiator tank main body (234) to thereby form an alloy layer (a corrosion preventing layer) containing therein the sacrificial material heavily on the internal surface of the radiator tank main body (234).

摘要: Two heat exchangers, such as a condenser for cooling refrigerant circulating in an air-conditioner and a radiator for cooling coolant in an internal combustion engine, are combined into a single unit. Both heat exchangers are overlapped in an airflow direction of cooling air. Each heat exchanger has a similar structure composed of a core having plural tubes and fins and a pair of header tanks connected to both ends of the tubes. Two heat exchanges are combined by a side plate disposed on the upper side thereof. The openings of both header tanks are closed with separately formed tank caps and are connected to the side plate through the tank caps. Direct heat transfer from one header tank to the other header tank, e.g., from the radiator tank to the condenser tank, is prevented because both header tanks are connected to the side plate through separate tank caps, thus achieving a high heat radiation capacity in the compound heat exchanger.

摘要: A double heat exchanger for a vehicle air conditioner has a first radiator for cooling engine coolant, a second radiator for cooling electronic-parts coolant for cooling electronic parts of the vehicle and a condenser disposed at an upstream air side of the first and second radiators. The condenser has a condenser core and a cooler through which refrigerant discharged from the condenser core flows. The second radiator is disposed opposite the cooler so that air having passed through the cooler passes through the second radiator. Therefore, a difference between a temperature of air passing through the second radiator and a temperature of electronic-parts coolant flowing through the second radiator is increased, and electronic-parts coolant is sufficiently cooled. As a result, the electronic parts are sufficiently cooled without increasing a size of the second radiator.

As a result, the surface area of the protrusion portions (112e, 122e) may be increased without decreasing the thermal conductive area extending to the end of the protrusion portions (112e, 122e), and thereby a sufficient amount of heat may be conducted especially to the protrusion portions (112e, 122e), with decreasing airflow resistance, and an improvement in radiation ability appropriate to the increase of radiation area may, accordingly, be achieved.

摘要: A tapered section and a flange section which constitute reinforcements are provided on mounting members to which a blower (fan shroud) is to be attached. The reinforcements are provided on the sides of the reinforcements which are in contact with a longer side wall surface of a rectangular tank. According to this structure, it is possible to prevent the longer side wall surface from deforming, while mitigating the concentration of stress to the joint portions between the mounting members and the longer side wall surface. Therefore, the mechanical strength, reliability and durability of the header tank can be improved without increasing the mass (weight) and production cost of the radiator.

摘要: A double heat exchanger for a vehicle air conditioner combining a condenser and a radiator has a corrugated condenser fin and a corrugated radiator fin integrally formed and having the same fin pitch. Each of the condenser and radiator fins has plural upper folds, plural lower folds and plural wall portions each of which connects one of the upper folds and one of the lower folds next to each other. An inclination angle of each of the wall portions of the condenser fin is made different from that of each of the wall portions of the radiator fin. As a result, a height of the condenser fin becomes different from that of the radiator fin while maintaining a radius of curvature of each of the upper and lower folds of the condenser fin equal to that of each of the upper and lower folds of the radiator fin.

摘要: A double heat exchanger has a condenser having a condenser tank and a condenser tank cap for closing an open end of the condenser tank, and a radiator having a radiator tank and a radiator tank cap for closing an open end of the radiator tank. The condenser tank cap has a protrusion which protrudes toward the radiator tank and contacts the radiator tank to form a gap between the condenser tank and the radiator tank. The protrusion is also used to clamp the condenser tank cap to the condenser tank. As a result, the gap is securely formed between the condenser tank and the radiator tank, while heat is transferred from the radiator tank to the condenser tank only through the protrusion. Therefore, heat transfer from the radiator tank to the condenser tank is sufficiently restricted without increasing a manufacturing cost.

Due to this structure, a joining portion of the tube to the core plate is three-dimensionally formed and a joining portion length is extended. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the size and the weight of the side plate (139, 230), and easily attach and detach the radiator (200) and the condenser (100) from a vehicle.
