    摘要: A hybrid heat transfer assembly includes operating equipment having a coolant loop including a cooling fluid inlet and a cooling fluid outlet. A radiator has a radiator inlet connected to the cooling fluid outlet, and a radiator outlet connected to the cooling fluid inlet. A radiator fan proximate the radiator directs air across the radiator. A chiller includes an evaporator having an evaporator inlet connected to the cooling fluid outlet, and an evaporator outlet connected to the cooling fluid inlet. A compressor is connected to the evaporator, a condenser is connected to the compressor, and an expansion valve is connected to the condenser and evaporator. A refrigerant loop connects the evaporator and compressor, the condenser and compressor, and the expansion valve to the condenser and the evaporator. A condenser fan proximate the condenser directs air across the condenser.

    摘要: A vehicle cooling system includes a fan, a radiator upstream of the fan and in a first air flow path, a charge air cooler upstream of the radiator in the first air flow path, a fuel cooler upstream of the radiator in the first air flow path, and a hydraulic oil cooler adjacent to a side of the radiator and upstream of the fan and in a second air flow path which is parallel to the first air flow path. A condenser is positioned in the first air flow path between the fuel cooler and the radiator. The hydraulic oil cooler has an upstream side which is unobscured by any other cooling system components. The hydraulic oil cooler includes first and second hydraulic oil cooler units connected together in series. A portion of the hydraulic oil cooler is positioned above a top side of the radiator.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a cooling system having a coolant delivery matrix, such as for providing a two phase (vapour) cooling system for the engine. The coolant delivery matrix is configured for location in a cylinder block of an engine housing of the internal combustion engine. The coolant delivery matrix includes a manifold and a plurality of pipes extending from the manifold. The coolant delivery matrix is further configured to locate around at least one cylinder in the cylinder block, and each of the plurality of pipes has at least one aperture being directed to spray liquid coolant at a wall of the at least one cylinder.

    摘要: In-a vehicle energy management system engine belt or engine direct driven components are replaced with electrical motors. A main fan unit is replaced with smaller single function electrical components. The larger multipurpose heat exchangers such as the vehicle radiator are replaced with smaller single function heat exchangers associated with the smaller electric fans. The energy management system may involve a main vehicle engine crankshaft mounted generator. This generator creates high voltage DC electricity. In one embodiment, the converter is a closed loop converter that makes the conversion of DC to AC alternatively turning on and off at a varying frequency in order to produce a time averaged AC output.

    摘要: The invention relates to a system which is used to cool at least one piece of motor vehicle equipment to a low temperature, comprising a heat transfer fluid circulation loop. According to the invention, a low-temperature heat exchanger (60) and at least one equipment exchanger (102) are mounted to the aforementioned circulation loop. The heat exchange surface of the equipment exchanger (102) is divided into at least first and second heat exchange sections (104, 106). A first flow (Q 1 ) of heat-transfer fluid passes through the first heat exchange section (104), while a second smaller flow (Q2) passes through the second section. The invention is suitable for motor vehicle heat exchangers.
