    摘要： Provided is a composite material including carbon fibers having a weight average fiber length of 1 mm or more and 100 mm or less and a thermoplastic resin. The composite material satisfies K1≤1.5×K2 and exhibits excellent conformability during a stretching step in press molding; and a press molded body production method using said composite material. K1 represents the inclination of an approximate straight line of linear approximation on the plot in the range of 35% strain or more, obtained by strain sweep tests from 0% to 100% on the composite material at a temperature of 270° C., a shear of 100 rad/sec, and a normal load of 2 N, plotting, both in logarithmic scales, the values of strain % versus the values of complex viscosity coefficient Pa·sec. K2 represents the inclination of an approximate straight line of linear approximation on the plot in the range of less than 35% strain.

    摘要： A composite material includes a thermoplastic matrix resin and carbon fibers A including carbon fiber bundles A1 in which Li/(Ni×Di2) is 6.7×101 to 3.3×103, and a thermoplastic matrix resin. The carbon fibers A have a fiber length of 5-100 mm and the carbon fiber bundles A1 are contained in an amount of 80 vol % or larger but less than 100 vol % with respect to the carbon fibers A and wherein removal of the matrix resin from the composite material gives a carbon fiber mass which, when compressed to a thickness of Tf, has a repulsive force P of 0.05-1.00 MPa A method for producing the composite material including subjecting a composite composition to an impregnation treatment with a compression/impregnation device.

    摘要： A press-molded product includes: carbon fibers having a weight average fiber length of 1 mm or more; a polyamide-based resin (X); and a polyarylene ether-based resin (Y). The carbon fibers include carbon fiber bundles. The polyamide-based resin (X) and the polyarylene ether-based resin (Y) form a sea-island structure inside and outside the carbon fiber bundles. In the sea-island structure, one of the polyamide-based resin (X) and the polyarylene ether-based resin (Y) forms a sea phase and the other forms an island phase having a particle diameter Dr of 0.05 μm or more and less than 50 μm.
