摘要: There is provided a method of operating a terminal device in a first network, the method comprising maintaining one or more indices and a mapping between the one or more indices and respective network identifiers, each network identifier identifying a network and/or a network node, wherein two or more networks and/or network nodes share the same index; and in the event that the terminal device is to take an action in respect of a network and/or network node having an index shared with another network and/or network node, the method further comprises the step of determining which one of the two or more networks and/or network nodes having the shared index the terminal device is to take the action in respect of. Methods of operating a node and network nodes are also provided.

摘要: A node of a radio access network (RAN) receives, from a WLAN Termination (WT), an Extended Service Set Identifier (ESSID) and/or a Basic Service Set Identifier (BSSID) for one or more WLAN access points controlled by the WT. The node maintains a mapping between the ESSIDs and/or the BSSIDs and corresponding WLAN access points of the WT. Responsive to receiving a measurement report from a UE, the measurement report indicating an ESSID and/or a BSSID, the node associates the UE with a WLAN access point, based on said mapping. An interface may be established between the node and the WT.

The method comprises associating each of the configured carriers of the first group with one of a plurality of possible carrier indicator field values, and associating each of the configured carriers of the second group with one of the plurality of possible carrier indicator field values. The method comprises communicating, to the wireless device on a first carrier of either the first or second groups, information related to a particular carrier in the same group as the first carrier, wherein the particular carrier is identified by its associated carrier indicator field value.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a method of operating a wireless terminal may include configuring a first group of component carriers, and while configured with the first group of component carriers, communicating a first MAC CE including a first bit map having a first bit map size with bits of the first bit map corresponding to respective component carriers of the first group of component carriers. The method may also include configuring a second group of component carriers wherein the first and second groups of component carriers are different. While configured with the second group of component carriers, a second MAC CE may be communicated, wherein the second MAC CE includes a second bit map having a second bit map size with bits of the second bit map corresponding to respective component carriers of the second group of component carriers. Moreover, the first and second bit map sizes may be different.

摘要: In one example embodiment, a method by a wireless device includes attempting to transmit a first data packet during a first transmission time interval. During a second transmission time interval that is subsequent to the first transmission time interval, a second data packet is transmitted if the transmission of the first data packet during the first transmission time interval was successful. The second data packet includes data that is exclusive of the data of the first data packet. Alternatively, if the transmission of the first data packet during the first transmission time interval was not successful, a third data packet is transmitted. The third data packet includes data that includes at least a portion of the data of the first data packet.
