    摘要: A variable oil flow regulator for minimizing noise generated typically by an oil-injected rotary screw compressor when the compressor transitions from an on-load mode for compressing fluid to an off-load mode. The regulator includes a housing having a first end, a second end and a chamber formed therein extending between the first and second ends. The regulator also includes a first port formed at the first end of the housing for admitting a pressure signal into the chamber corresponding to a compression level of the fluid, a second port formed at the second end of the housing for admitting the oil into the chamber, and a third port formed in the housing between the first and second ends of the housing for discharging the oil admitted into the chamber through the second port. The regulator further comprises a piston slidably disposed in the chamber between the first and second ends of the housing, the piston having a first end in fluid communication with the pressure signal and a second end in fluid communication with the oil. The piston is movable into a first position for allowing unrestricted flow of the oil between the second and third ports when the compressor is in the on-load mode and into a second position for restricting flow of the oil between the second and third ports when the compressor is in the off-load mode, the position of the piston being dependent upon the pressure differential between the pressure signal and the oil.

    摘要: An electronic module includes a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) which contains a plurality of circuit elements. The electronic module is electrically connected to other electrical components in a vehicle by a connector. The PCB is contained within an electrically conductive housing which includes a box and a cover. A ground trace printed on the PCB extends to a mounting hole in the PCB and provides a ground path for the circuit elements. An electrically conductive metal ferrule which elevates the PCB above the box and the cover above the PCB, extends through the mounting hole in the PCB and contacts the cover and box when the cover is fitted onto the box. A mounting bolt extends through the cover inside the ferrule through the box and into a nut mounted into a metal portion of the vehicle.

    摘要: Multi-time delay power controller apparatus for providing time delayed power-up and power-down for associated electrical equipment, such as computer systems, comprises a power stage configured for connecting to a conventional power outlet, a D.C. power supply connected to an internal D.C. voltage bus, an output stage having a plurality of time delayed outputs and a plurality of time delay turn-on timing stages connected in electrical series with one another between the D.C. bus and ground. Each such stage comprises an R-C circuit and a type 555 integrated circuit which together function as a timer. Included in each stage is a control relay. The energizing coils of the relays in odd numbered stages are connected to ground and of even numbered stages to the D.C. bus. The timing stages are connected so that the timing out of one stage starts the timing of the next-in-sequence stage, the timing of the first-in-sequence stage being started when the apparatus is turned on. The control relays, which provide voltage to the time delayed output stages are energized, in sequence, when each stage times out. Timed delay turn-off means are provided for sequentially removing the voltages to the outputs in the reverse order in which voltage is applied by operation of the control relays. The time delay turn-off means include relays through which the time delay turn-on relays are energized and which cause deenergizing of the control relays in the turn-off sequence.

    摘要: A separator tank assembly for use in a fluid compression system includes a separator element having a base, a support element mounted to the separator element, and a scavenge tube. The scavenge tube has a first end and a second end. The scavenge tube is fixed to the support element so that the first end of the scavenge tube is located at a predetermined position relative to the base of the separator element. The separator tank assembly also includes a tank housing having an outer flange at a top end thereof. The tank housing is dimensioned to receive the separator element. The separator tank assembly further includes a tank cover to attach to the outer flange of the tank housing. The tank cover has a cover orifice, and the separator tank assembly includes an adapter extending through the cover orifice. The adapter has a first section to connect to the second end of the scavenge tube and a second section to connect to a line component of the fluid compression system.
