摘要: When signal-recording-and-reproducing portion 30 records an image signal DVb of a variable frame-rate picked-up image generated by a image signal generation portion 10 if it is instructed to reproduce the image signal, the recorded signal is reproduced and supplied to a frame rate conversion portion 21 as an image signal DVr. The frame rate conversion portion 21 converts the image signals DVb and DVr to a display frame rate and supplies them to a monitor image signal generation portion 41 as image signals DVb′ and DVr′. The monitor image signal generation portion 41 generates a monitor image displaying images based on the image signals DVb′ and DVr′ on a screen. Adjusting the frame rate referring to reproduced image displayed together with an image that is being shot allows an image signal to be easily generated so that a motion of a subject can be matched to a desired speed at the reproduction thereof.

摘要: A novel plant transposon that induces bud mutation, transposase thereof, and a method for efficiently inducing bud mutation by improvement in the transposition efficiency are provided. A novel transposon having terminal inverted repeat sequences (SEQ ID NO: 1 and SEQ ID NO: 2) shown below has been isolated for the first time from carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus) and the nucleotide sequence thereof has been determined. The transposon has contained a gene encoding the transposase in its sequence. The transposon induces bud mutation when it is inserted into a gene. The transposition frequency is elevated due to environmental stress. TAGAGCTGGCAAA---TTTGCCAGCTCTA (SEQ ID NOS 1 & 2, respectively in order of appearance).

摘要: In a variable displacement swash plate type compressor, a drive shaft is installed in a case to rotate about its axis. A generally spherical sleeve is axially slidably disposed on the drive shaft, a journal is disposed on the sleeve, and a swash plate is tightly disposed on the journal. For achieving a reliable pivotal movement of the journal relative to the sleeve, the following measures are practically employed. First and second parallel flat surfaces are provided at diametrically opposed portions of the sleeve. Third and fourth parallel flat surfaces are formed on diametrically opposed portions of an inner wall of a generally cylindrical bore defined in the journal. The sleeve is disposed in the generally cylindrical bore of the journal in such a manner that the first and second parallel flat surfaces slidably abut against the third and fourth parallel flat surfaces respectively. Pins are used for connecting the sleeve and the journal to permit the pivotal movement of the journal relative to the sleeve at the slidably mated portions between the first and third flat surfaces and between the second and fourth flat surfaces.
