摘要: A method and device for analyzing and treating tonal imperfections on human skin. The method has the steps of taking at least one background image of at least 10 μm2 of skin and calculating the average background L value of the image on a grey scale. One or more treatment images of the skin are taken and at least one localized L value of individual pixels or group of pixels is calculated within the treatment image. The local L value is compared to the background L value. Skin deviations are areas of skin where the absolute value of the difference between a local L and the background L is greater than a predetermined ΔLS. Skin deviations are identified by this method and then treated with a treatment composition.

摘要: A method of connecting a cartridge comprising a fluid composition with a microfluidic delivery system is provided. The method includes the steps of: providing a housing comprising electrical contacts, wherein the electrical contacts of the housing are disposed on a first plane; providing a cartridge comprising a reservoir for containing a fluid composition, a die comprising a nozzle, and electrical contacts that are in electrical communication with the die, wherein the electrical contacts of the cartridge are disposed along a second plane that is parallel with the first plane; and connecting the cartridge with the housing by moving the cartridge in a direction parallel with the second plane toward the housing until the electrical contacts of the cartridge are in electrical communication with the electrical contacts of the housing.

摘要: Digital image stitching systems and methods are disclosed herein for generating one or more panoramic image views. A plurality of digital images depicting a target feature within an application area are captured by a camera of a scanner device. Motion data is captured, by a sensor coupled to the scanner device, as the scanner device moves relative to the target feature, where relative position data, corresponding to the plurality of digital images, is determined based on the motion data. An angle or position is generated for a first image relative to a second image of the plurality of images, and, based on image matching of the angle or the position of the second image with respect to the first image, a panoramic image view is generated depicting the target feature in a wider field of view of the application area than either the first image or the second image.
