摘要: In a tractor-scraper combination having a single-axle two-wheel tractor and an earthmoving scraper articulately joined together, one or two hydraulic suspension jacks are operatively connected between the axle and main frame of the tractor for varying the distance therebetween in accordance with the loaded or empty state of the scraper. Connected between each suspension jack and a pump, a leveling valve normally communicates the pump with some other hydraulic system of the vehicle and, on actuation, selectively communicates the suspension jack with the pump and with a fluid drain. When the bowl of the scraper becomes loaded or unloaded, a pressure sensor connected to a bowl jack actuates a timer, causing same to allow energization of an elevation sensor connected between the axle and main frame of the tractor. The energized elevation sensor puts out a signal representative of the elevation of the tractor main frame above the axle. A solenoid valve responds to the elevation sensor signal by causing a double-acting air cylinder to actuate the leveling valve, with the consequent leveling of the vehicle by the suspension jack. An accumulator in communication with the suspension jack absorbs the normal dynamic motion of the vehicle during travel.

摘要: An articulated vehicle has a pair of hydraulic steering cylinders for causing angular motion of a forward vehicle portion relative to its rearward portion under the control of a steering control valve which is actuated from a steering wheel via a linkage system. Arranged between the steering cylinders and the steering control valve are a pair of flow dividers which upon actuation of the steering cylinders operate to selectively deliver part of the hydraulic fluid drained therefrom to the opposed fluid chambers of a follow-up cylinder having its piston rod coupled to the linkage system. The follow-up cylinder when thus actuated causes the linkage system to return the steering control valve to neutral. In an alternate embodiment of the invention the flow dividers are replaced by hydraulic motors which on selective actuation drive respective pumps communicating with the fluid chambers of the follow-up cylinder.

摘要: A frequency synthesizer having reduced spurious components for use in a receiving and transmitting apparatus. The frequency synthesizer includes a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) for generating a first signal having a first frequency determined by channel setting data. The first signal is applied to a frequency divider to generate a divided signal having a divided frequency. The divided signal is applied to a frequency converter for shifting the divided frequency by a shift frequency interval to provide a reference signal having a reference frequency. The reference signal is applied to a phase locked loop (PLL) for generating a final signal having a predetermined frequency characteristic.
