    摘要: A roof lining structure in a motor vehicle includes a roof lining base member and a vibration-damping layer interposed between an upper surface of the base member and a lower surface of a roof panel of the motor vehicle. The roof lining base member comprises a support layer having a cellular structure, and a reinforcing layer disposed at least partly in the roof lining base member. The upper surface of the vibration-damping layer is held in intimate contact with the lower surface of the roof panel. The vibration-damping layer is bonded to the roof panel by an adhesive layer. The vibration-damping layer is made of a material having such a mechanical strength that the vibration-damping layer will be torn apart vertically with a tearing force weaker than the bonding strength of the adhesive layer.

    摘要: A laminated material as a damping member welded to a panel of a vehicle body comprises a lower sheet of a foamable mer-sheet, an upper sheet of a non-foamable mer-sheet and an intermediate sheet of a reduced size to be interposed between the upper and lower sheets, wherein the upper and lower sheets are welded together at their peripheral end portions which come into direct contact with each other in laminated state. This structure probilits any irregularities present on the body panel surface from appearing on the upper surface of the laminated material and provides a good damping effect. A method for welding a laminated damping material to a vehicle body panel uses an oven which is used in a coating step of a vehicle body assembly line, dry heat of the oven permitting the layer of a foamable material to get foamed and fluidized when the damping material is passed through the oven the coating step, thus providing a thermal welding between the damping material and the panel. This method simplifies the assembling operation.

    摘要: A power converter capable of activating a control circuit therein without increasing a length of a wiring for conveying an external activation signal. In the power converter, a converter circuit isolates a first voltage of a first power supply, converts the first voltage into a second voltage, and outputs the second voltage to a second power supply. A first power supply connecting circuit connects the first power supply to the converter circuit in response to the activation signal. An activation circuit determines whether or not the activation signal has been received by the first power supply connecting circuit on the basis of a voltage between input terminals of the converter circuit and activates the control circuit when it is determined that the activation signal has been received by the first power supply connecting circuit.

    摘要: The control apparatus for controlling a voltage transforming apparatus having a transformer, power switching elements disposed in a primary side, and synchronous-rectifying switching elements disposed in a secondary side includes a judging circuit making a judgment as to whether or not an output current of the voltage transforming apparatus is smaller than a specified current on the basis of a primary-side current of the transformer and an inhibition circuit inhibiting the synchronous-rectifying switching elements from performing their synchronous-rectifying control operation when the judging circuit judges that the output current is smaller than the specified current. The judging circuit makes the judgment with compensating for a variation of a relationship between the primary side-current and the output current due to variation of duty ratio of the power switching elements, and variation of at least one of the DC output voltage and the DC input voltage of the voltage transforming apparatus.
