    摘要: There is disclosed a piezoelectric device which has a remarkably high piezoelectric characteristic and which is superior in a vibration transmitting property between a substrate and a piezoelectric portion and in which linearity of a flexural displacement with respect to a voltage is high up to a high voltage region and which exhibits a high durability even in a case where the device is used with a large flexural displacement for a long period. The piezoelectric device is provided with: a substrate 2 made of a ceramic; a piezoelectric portion 1 constituted of a piezoelectric porcelain composition containing as a major component a Pb(Mg, Ni)1/3Nb2/3O3—PbZrO3—PbTiO3 ternary solid solution system composition represented by a predetermined formula; and an electrode 3 electrically connected to the piezoelectric portion 1, and the piezoelectric portion 1 is solidly attached onto the substrate 2 directly or via the electrode 3.

    摘要: The present invention includes the following three types of piezoelectric porcelains. (1) In a piezoelectric porcelain having a composition of aPb[Mg.sub.1-X Ni.sub.X).sub.1/3 (Nb.sub.1-Y Ta.sub.Y).sub.2/3 ]O.sub.3 -bPbTiO.sub.3 -cPbZrO.sub.3, the coefficients a, b and c (mol %) and the substitution rate X satisfy all the following conditions; 15.ltoreq.a.ltoreq.45, 32.ltoreq.b.ltoreq.45, 10.ltoreq.c.ltoreq.50 and 0.1.ltoreq.X.ltoreq.0.9.     摘要: A piezoelectric/electrostrictive membrane element is provided, including a ceramic substrate, a membranous piezoelectric/electrostrictive portion including a piezoelectric/electrostrictive body made of a large number of crystal particles having a lead zirconate titanate based piezoelectric/electrostrictive ceramic composition, and membranous electrodes electrically connected to the piezoelectric/electrostrictive portion. The crystal particles include crystal main body portions, and surface layer portions arranged in at least a part of the outer periphery of crystal main body portions and having a crystal structure which is different from that of the crystal main body portions. The piezoelectric/electrostrictive portion is bonded in a solid state to the substrate directly or via electrodes.

    摘要: The piezoelectric/electrostrictive properties and mechanical durability of a piezoelectric/electrostrictive ceramic can be improved. A piezoelectric/electrostrictive device has a laminated structure in which an electrode film, a piezoelectric/electrostrictive film, an electrode film, an piezoelectric/electrostrictive film, and an electrode film are laminated in the order mentioned on a thin portion of a substrate. The piezoelectric/electrostrictive films are ceramic films with a matrix of perovskite oxide that contains lead (Pb) as an A-site component and nickel (Ni), aluminum (Al), niobium (Nb), zirconium (Zr), and titanium (Ti) as B-site components. The piezoelectric/electrostrictive films are formed by firing as a unit the substrate that contains aluminum oxide and an intermediate coating film of perovskite oxide that contains components other than aluminum so that aluminum oxide is diffused from the substrate to the intermediate coating film.

    摘要: A multi-layered piezoelectric device includes a plurality of piezoelectric portions and a plurality of electrodes electrically connected to the piezoelectric portions that are formed in layers on a ceramic substrate. A first piezoelectric portion is made of a piezoelectric ceramic composition containing Ni in an amount of 0.08 to 0.31% by mass (in terms of NiO), and second and upper piezoelectric portions are made of a piezoelectric ceramic composition of higher Ni content than in the first piezoelectric portion. An electrode is provided at least between the first piezoelectric portion and the second piezoelectric portion.

    摘要: There is disclosed a piezoelectric/electrostrictive film type device 1 provided with: a thin substrate 2 made of a ceramic; and a piezoelectric/electrostrictive operating portion 5 disposed on the substrate 2 and constituted by successively laminating a lower electrode film 3a, a piezoelectric/electrostrictive film 4 containing a large number of crystal particles constituted of a piezoelectric/electrostrictive composition, and an upper electrode film 3b. The piezoelectric/electrostrictive composition contains one or more alkali metal elements selected from the group consisting of lithium (Li), potassium (K), and sodium (Na), and one or more metal elements selected from the group consisting of niobium (Nb), tantalum (Ta), antimony (Sb), and silver (Ag) (however, surely containing niobium (Nb), and circle equivalent diameters of 90% or more of the large number of crystal particles are in a range of 0.3 to 50 μm. It is possible to exhibit a superior piezoelectric/electrostrictive characteristic without containing lead (Pb) and obtain an especially large displacement.
