    摘要: A system and method for controlling an ignition timing for an internal combustion engine, in which one of knock suppression correction quantity and MBT (Maximum Spark Advance for Best Torque) correction quantity whose value is placed at a more retardation angle side is selected as the ignition timing correction quantity, the ignition timing angle correction quantity is compared with the knock suppression quantity when a magnitude of the engine knocking exceeds a predetermined level. When the knock suppression correction quantity is placed at a more advance angle side than the ignition timing correction quantity, a basic ignition timing angle determined on the basis of an engine operating condition is corrected on the basis of a value of the ignition timing correction quantity corrected toward the retardation angle side by a predetermined angle. When the knock suppression correction quantity is not placed at the more advance angle side, the basic ignition timing angle is corrected on the basis of the knock suppression correction quantity.

    摘要: A fuel supply control system is disclosed having a means for determining an engine load condition based on the revolution speed of a compressor shaft and a means for determining a target speed of a turbine output shaft. The latter means increases the target speed in a relatively low engine load condition to increase an inertia moment applied to the turbine output shaft and thereby to maintain the output shaft revolution speed within a given range, even when the load applied to the engine is rapidly increased.

    摘要: A method of and an apparatus for controlling supercharge pressure for a turbocharger in which a proportional control or a proportional plus integral control is selectively carried out for controlling the capacity changing structure of an exhaust gas flow path to a turbine and for controlling an exhaust bypass valve which defines a bypass passage for the exhaust gas to flow around the turbine. Independent control loops are established having electromagnetic valves operated accordance with control signals having duty values calculated by a microprocessor in a control unit. According to the present invention, since independent control loops are established, no interference occurs between the control loops and no overlapping control conditions take place. Also overshoot control for the actual supercharge pressure due to excessive correction according is prevented by utilizing selective control by a proportional or a proportional plus integral scheme.
