摘要: Color of an information-input apparatus not in the color gamut of an information-output apparatus is converted to color inside a color gamut of the information-output apparatus and on a half-line which passes through a point which corresponds to color of an information-input apparatus taking a convergence point as an endpoint. The convergence point may any one of a point where saturation takes a value of 0, a point of an average value of a color gamut of an information-input apparatus, a point of a central value of a color gamut of an information-input apparatus, or a point of a weighted value of a color gamut of an information-input apparatus.

摘要: A color correction device and method separates achromatic color from chromatic color and independently controls the color. Color interpolation is performed along the locus of the color change of an input signal by dividing a color space of the input signal into blocks to surely include the locus changing from black to white passing through a center part based on the locus (chromatic locus) changing from black to white surrounding a color region to be handled by an input image equipment and the locus (achromatic locus) changing from black to white passing through the center part of the color region to be handled by the input image equipment. An achromatic part present in the center part of the color space is separately handled from a chromatic part present in its peripheral part.

摘要: A process is provided for developing and converting a lookup table (hereinafter called a “LUT”) composed of only characteristic points of the characteristic of a color device and having a volume smaller than that of a multidimensional LUT into a multidimensional LUT by a table development process. Image data converting means uses the multidimensional LUT to convert input image data into output image data. Thus, an effect can be obtained in that a color management apparatus can be operated with only the LUT composed of only characteristic points of the characteristic of the device and having a small volume.

摘要: A color correcting apparatus and method convert a first color signal of a first format into a second color signal of a second format using a conversion matrix. The conversion matrix is obtained based on an achromatic color component conversion matrix and a chromatic color component conversion matrix representing chromacity and achromacity of an imaging device supplying the first color signal. Then, the second color signal is inversely converted into a third color signal of a third format. The third format is a format used by an image output unit. The inverse converting is performed using an inverse conversion matrix. The inverse conversion matrix is obtained based on an inverse of a conversion matrix associated with the image output unit, and the conversion matrix associated with the image output unit is obtained based on an achromatic color component conversion matrix and chromatic color component conversion matrix representing chromacity and achromacity of the image output unit. Furthermore, the color correcting apparatus and method may be employed in an imaging system.

摘要: The present invention is an organoruthenium compound for a chemical vapor deposition raw material, including dodecacarbonyl triruthenium represented by the following chemical formula, wherein the iron (Fe) concentration is 1 ppm or less. The DCR in the present invention can be produced by obtaining crude DCR by directly carbonylating ruthenium through allowing a ruthenium salt and carbon monoxide to react with each other and by purifying the crude DCR by a sublimation method. In the synthesis step, the concentration of Fe in the obtained crude DCR is preferably set at 10 ppm or less.
