摘要: In a radio-based device for issuing hazard warnings to the driver of a vehicle a data receiver situated on board the vehicle receives hazard data from a data transmitter of at least one other vehicle, and evaluates the received data in a computer unit. The received data includes information about the position, speed and direction of travel of the transmitting vehicle. According to the invention, from the received data of the transmitting vehicle and from information relating to the position, speed and direction of travel data of the receiving vehicle, a relevance measure is determined in the receiving vehicle, which relates to whether the transmitting vehicle is located on a section of road lying ahead of the receiving vehicle. A chronological profile of the relevance measure is determined by repeatedly determining the relevance measure.

摘要: A user interface 4 for a communication system 2 in a motor vehicle 1 which, in a restricted operating mode, restricts a functionality of a radio interface 3 for wireless connection to a radio communication network and to a communication system 2 for a motor vehicle 1 with a radio interface 3 for wireless connection to a radio communication network and for setting up a corresponding communication link, and to an associated operating method. The user interface 4 activates a waiting function 4.1 for an incoming call in the restricted operating mode, which informs the caller of the cause and/or expected duration of the operation with restricted functionality.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and to a device for evaluating driver performance, comprising the continuous detection of the actual state of travel and the actual traffic situation and determining a reference state of travel pertaining to the actual traffic situation. Said reference state of travel is the state of travel desired in the respective traffic situation according to a predetermined evaluation criterion. According to the invention, the actual state of travel detected is evaluated according to said evaluation criterion by comparing it with the pertaining detected reference state of travel. Subsequently, one or more pieces of feedback information regarding driver performance during a preceding traffic situation are given. The invention also refers to the use of the inventive device for the instructive evaluation of the driver performance of road vehicle users.

摘要: An information output system of a vehicle senses the driving state and/or the surroundings state of the vehicle, of outputs information using at least two sensory channels, and evaluates and controls collected data, to actuate the output of information as a function of the data evaluation. At, least one of the at least two sensory channels can be selected for the outputting of information. The evaluation and control unit evaluates the collected data to determine, whether a collision with the outputting of a second information item occurs with the sensory channel selected for outputting a first information item, and when a collision is detected changes over the sensory channel to outputting the first or the second information item, or when the first and the second information item is output using the same sensory channel the time required for outputting the first and second information items is determined and the outputting of the information item with the longer time requirement is delayed compared to the outputting of the information item with the shorter time requirement.

摘要: A control assembly for a motor vehicle is arranged so that a control action carried out by a finger is able to be detected. The control assembly includes a control device and a selection element, on which a finger is able to be positioned to make a selection. The selection element is arranged in a predetermined spatial way with respect to the control device either next to or directly next to the control device. The control device is formed to detect a position of the finger on the selection element and to differentiate the control action depending on the detected position.
