    摘要: The present invention aims at providing a pattern matching device that conducts pattern matching on an image including a plurality of regions having different features with high precision, such as a pattern image including a plurality of layers.In order to achieve the above object, the present invention proposes a pattern matching device that executes pattern matching on a target image with the use of a template formed on the basis of design data or a picked-up image, which executes the pattern matching on a first target image with the use of a first template including a plurality of different patterns, creates a second target image with the exclusion of information on a region including a specific pattern from the first target image, and determines the degree of similarity between the second target image, and a second template including pattern information other than the specific pattern.

    摘要: It is possible to compatibly set multiple “dropout” color ranges and “non-dropout” color ranges and uniquely determine a dropout boundary. An object of the present invention is to greatly conserve maintenance cost of adding a new dropout form after apparatus operations. A conventional technology aims at assuring relation to a predetermined color region, determining the presence or absence of contention, or uniquely settling a dropout boundary. The present invention provides a means for supplying levels to a “dropout” color range and a “non-dropout” color range. A registered color range histogram can be quasi-three-dimensionally visualized so that an operator can make adjustment by viewing a contention determination result and an image.

    摘要: A distance measuring technology is capable of stably and accurately performing measurement of the distance to the distance to an object without use of a highly accurate focus control mechanism. The distance measurement is performed by an apparatus having a mask for restricting light so as to pass light through two or more different light passing positions; a lens system for focusing the light that has passed through the mask; an image taking-in means for taking in images from the light focused by the lens system; and a distance calculating unit for calculating a distance from an imaging element to an object using the taken-in images. The mask restricts the light so that the light is able to pass through only specified positions.

    摘要: A multi-color document reading apparatus used in a facsimile apparatus for reading a document disposed at a predetermined position containing pictures of multiple colors on a line-by-line basis while discriminately identifying the colors includes an image sensor for sensing optical images in a predetermined area including at least one line of the document disposed at the predetermined position, light sources for selectively illuminating at least the predetermined area in one of first and second energized states differing from each other in respect to the spectral characteristics thereof, a switch circuit for selectively energizing the light sources for illuminating the document in one of the first and second states, a distortion correcting circuit including memories for storing first and second shading waveforms derived from data sensed by the image sensor for optical images of a standard sheet of a specific color disposed at the predetermined position and illuminated by the light source in the first and second energized states, respectively, and a color separating circuit for identifying data of different colors of the multi-color pictures included in one line of the document for generating color-separated signals representing the different colors.
