Abstract:
A cable connector for a multiplicity of electrical lines is disclosed. The cable connector is adapted to be connected to a banana plug. A protective resistor is provided inside the cable connector in order to protect the electrical lines. By providing the protective resistor inside of the cable connector, a banana plug insulating jacket can be more easily provided in the banana plug housing, and the cable connector remains protected at all times.
Abstract:
A power line-operated electronic time-clock including a clock switching circuit, a memory for storage of switching or alarm times, including an input device and a display device, and a power outage-bridging circuit for supplying electrical energy during a power outage to at least the timing components of the clock switching circuit and when required, to the memory storage device. The time-clock includes a monitoring circuit that is interconnected to the memory storage device, and the power outage-bridging circuit for generating a blocking signal in response to the absence of timing data being introduced into the memory device for rendering the power outage-bridging circuit inoperative. Thus, the energy storage device within the power outage circuit will not be drained prior to use or during testing of the clocks. In addition, the monitoring circuit may generate the blocking signal subsequent to a predetermined time interval after a power outage to disconnect the time clocks to prevent drainage of the energy storage device over an extended power shut down.
Abstract:
An adjusting mechanism is disclosed for adjusting a digital indicator of an electronic mechanism, such as a timepiece, which includes a first pulse generating mechanism for normally operating the digital display indicator. A second pulse generator includes a pulse former connected electrically to the digital indicator for supplying electrical adjusting pulses thereto. A sensor is operably connected to the pulse former to deliver activating signals thereto for the production of an adjusting pulse. A pulse control member is operably associated with the sensor to control the delivery of activating signals to the pulse former. Either the sensor or the pulse control member is rotatable relative to the other such that activating signals are generated in response to such relative rotation and are generated at a rate which is proportional to the rotational speed of the pulse control member.
Abstract:
A multiple plug arrangement with a plurality of individual plugs with essentially rectangular plug housings and with a holder that receives the plug housings arranged side by side and flush, the holder being closable on its top by a lid, a bottom opposite lid, and side walls connecting the bottom and lid with one another to form a rectangular cylinder being open at its ends, with the holder holding the individual plugs in position in the axial direction by a form fit that is both simple to manufacture and easy to handle, wherein the plug housings have, on their jacket sides pointing toward the bottom of holder, a window-like recess, and where the bottom is provided with projections matching window-like recesses, and where the closed lid holds the plug housings in an active engagement of the window-like recess of plug housing and projection of the bottom.
Abstract:
A transformerless power unit for an electronic apparatus, preferably a horological instrument, including a fluorescent display, with a compensating resistor network which is connected with one pole of the supply voltage, preferably of a series circuit constituted of an ohmic impedance and a capacitor, with a rectifier diode, with a stabilizer for the stabilization of the output direct voltage, and with a charging capacitor which is connected in parallel with the output.
Abstract:
In an electronic digital display control device, a pulse generator is actuated to produce pulses which are fed into a counter to control the setting on the display. A discriminator detects whether the frequency of the pulses exceeds a predetermined frequency limit. If the limit is exceeded, the discriminator connects to the counter a second pulse generator which provides pulses at a freqency higher than the predetermined frequency limit. By so doing, the counter receives a substantially greater number of control pulses per unit of time and sets the digital display very rapidly.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a film composite and the use thereof as a mirror film in solar reflectors in view of the sustainable guarantee of the required reflection of solar radiation (total solar reflection). In particular, the invention relates to the use of cover films on the basis of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) in the film composite, having an especially high UV stability, and a high weathering stability. The invention further relates to a UV and weather protection package for said solar mirror film, as utilized in solar reflectors, for improving the optical life span, weathering stability, and for avoiding delamination. The invention further relates to a surface finish with regard to scratch resistance, anti-soil and chemical stability of the solar mirror film.
Abstract:
A plug arrangement for a plurality of individual plugs with individual hongs and each having at least one contact pin, with the individual plugs being connectable in a holder into a uniformly manipulatable plug, wherein the individual housing of each individual plug is surrounded by a cylindrical sleeve, rectangular in cross section, which is open at one end for insertion and has in an end wall on the opposite side, an opening to allow at least one contact of individual plug to pass through. The plug arrangement is especially usable for medical equipment in conjunction with body electrodes. Adaptation to different plug bushings from different equipment manufacturers is made possible by using sleeves with different wall thicknesses. In addition, a required colored marking of the individual plugs can be provided by using sleeves of different colors, so that individual plugs can all be made the same color.
Abstract:
A socket for a miniature incandescent lamp for the detachable and lockable insertion in a recess in a printed circuit board and for making electrical contact with the lamp by pressing the connecting leads against the printed circuit board with a separate manufacture of the socket and the lamp, the socket consisting of a hollow cylinder with two axially superimposed parts of different external diameters, the cylinder, to accommodate the connecting leads of the lamp, having two diametrically opposite longitudinal slots, the width of which corresponds approximately to the diameter of the connecting leads and which extend over the whole height of the part of smaller diameter and into the part of larger diameter by an amount corresponding at most to the diameter of the connecting leads.
Abstract:
A light with a rubber-elastic cap, especially a colored silicone cap, particularly for attachment to printed circuit boards by soldering in the connecting wires of the light emerging from the bottom of the glass bulb, the silicone cap being provided with an edge thickening, which covers the lower section of the glass bulb and protrudes downward beyond the bottom of the glass bulb as installation edge, and the light connection wires being inclined and/or bent downward in such a manner that, after insertion in the boreholes of the printed circuit board, they brace the installation edge against the printed circuit board.
