    摘要: The resistances of resistors arranged in a matrix form in a pressure-sensitive resistor mat are measured with high accuracy and using simple circuitry by the fact that the output of an operational amplifier is connected to each row conductor and each column conductor, which are connected to the resistor. A voltage is selectively applied to the individual resistors by appropriately activating the operational amplifiers. Each operational amplifier associated with the row or column conductors is equipped with a current balancing circuit which detects the output current of the operational amplifier connected to the selected resistor which flows through this resistor. A processor determines the individual resistance values from the currents flowing through the individual resistors and the voltage drops across those resistors.

    摘要: An electronic device includes a sensor which detects acceleration values, and a control unit linked to the sensor. The control unit drives switching elements, which are disposed in a series circuit including at least one squib. When the switching elements are driven, the squib receives a current. This current flows at the same time through the also series-connected resistor, across which a voltage drop arises, which is analyzed by a comparator. The pulse duty factor of the current driving is modified as a function of the amperage of the current flowing through the squib.

    摘要: In a method of monitoring a voltage supply of a control unit in a motor vehicle, a supply module which provides the voltages is connected to the components of the control unit via a RESET line and the RESET line is tested every time the control unit is started or all monitoring limits of the supply module show no fault again after the faults of the monitored voltages have been filtered. This test occurs by forced periodic pulses which are generated on the basis of a shift in the limits of the monitoring bands of the supply voltages. The reference voltages VREGUL and VREF are kept independent of each other here in order to prevent system perturbations.

    摘要: The firing apparatus for a gas generator of a restraint device in a vehicle has a firing chamber filled with a pyrotechnic material. A semiconductor chip, in which in addition to a firing resistor at least one circuit activating the latter is integrated, is arranged outside the firing chamber in such a way that the thermal energy generated by the firing resistor during a firing operation is transferred to the pyrotechnic material in the firing chamber. To ensure that upon firing, the circuit elements in the firing apparatus remain undestroyed to the greatest possible extent, the semiconductor chip is retained on a circuit board; the circuit board is retained, with the side opposite the semiconductor chip, on a wall of the firing chamber; and an opening is present in the wall of the firing chamber and in the circuit board, so that a passage exists between the firing resistor mounted on the semiconductor chip and the pyrotechnic material in the firing chamber.
