The chromophores are nonlinear optically active compounds that include a π-donor conjugated to a π-acceptor through a π-electron conjugated bridge. Macromolecular structures including the hyperpolarizable organic chromophores are also provided.

The UV-C unit is mounted on either a universal mounting mechanism or a mobile support unit to provide mobility to the UV-C unit.

The fan may include a fan cavity having an air diversion mechanism to direct air from the fan cavity toward the lighting, fan and electric bug killing components. The inventions include an airflow surface to direct air existing the fan cavity along an LED light fixture. The LED light fixture emits a blue or light blue light which attracts bugs. Moreover, disclosed embodiments include one or more electric bug killing devices to kill any bugs as air flows through the air chamber. The present invention may also include grow light fixture in the housing.

摘要: The present invention is directed towards methods for the classification of plant embryos by the application of one or more classification algorithms to analyze digitized images and absorption, transmittance, or reflectance spectra. The methods are generally applicable and emphasize the importance of acquiring and using as much image and absorption, transmittance, or reflectance spectral information as possible, based on objective criteria. The present invention allows automated selection of embryos most suitable for further culture and rejection of those seen as less suitable.

摘要: A vacuum pick-up device 20 includes a device body 22 having a pick-up tip opening 78 to which vacuum pressure is supplied. The vacuum pick-up device 20 further includes a mechanical release assisting device 36 that assists in the release of a grasped object contemporaneously with or slightly subsequent to the cessation of vacuum pressure. A manifold 38 may be included to efficiently and effectively supply vacuum pressure to the device body 22 from a vacuum pressure source.
