摘要： A method for execution by an owner of a mailbox in a voice mail system. The method comprises using an access device to access a voicemail message contained in the mailbox and entering a command instrumental in causing the voicemail message to be forwarded over a telephone network to a conversion entity. At the conversion entity, an electronic representation of the voicemail message is created and then the electronic representation of the voicemail message is rendered accessible to the owner of the mailbox, e.g., by sending an email message to a predetermined address. In this way, electronic representations of voicemail messages in a mailbox can be accessed by the owner of the mailbox using a device of choice, not necessarily the access device used initially to enter the command. Also, this functionality is achieved while allowing the voice mail system to remain a legacy voice mail system.

摘要： A method suitable for execution by a voice mail system for handling a call placed by a caller. The method comprises providing the caller with an opportunity to submit a voice segment and providing the caller with an opportunity to submit an auxiliary electronic message, such as text or files. A composite message comprising the voice segment and the auxiliary electronic message is stored in a database. The auxiliary electronic message is released to its intended recipient upon subsequent interaction between the intended recipient and the voice mail system. The ability of the caller to submit text or files increases the accuracy and flexibility with which certain types of information can be conveyed to the intended recipient. At the same time, the ability of the intended recipient to access text or files associated with individual messages allows the intended recipient to better manage missed calls when eventually accessing his or her mailbox.

In operation, the vehicle mounted side camera system is operative to selectively display video from either the two front camera members or two back camera members simultaneously as a split screen.

The process includes providing a planar printed wire board (PWB) substrate having registration pads and a component having contact pads and spaced alignment pads, wherein the alignment pads each have a solder cap, placing the component on the substrate such that the alignment pads are in coarse alignment with the registration pads, applying heat to the alignment and registration pads to reflow the solder caps to precisely align the pads; and reducing the temperature below the reflow temperature. The process further includes applying a backside outer layer lamination, forming first vias, forming redistribution conductors on an opposite surface of the substrate connecting to the vias, and applying a front side outer layer lamination over the opposite surface of the substrate, all at temperatures below the reflow temperature.

摘要： A mobile device receives via a wireless network an enable message which indicates that a data message has been received and is ready for retrieval. The mobile device then provides an indication which indicates that the data message has been received, and includes a subset of the data message. After providing the indication, the mobile device detects a user-initiated entry into a messaging application. In response to detecting the user-initiated entry, the mobile device examines a setting in a data store which is provided in response to the enable message. If the setting is provided in the data store, the mobile device requests the data message by sending via the wireless network a fetch message and subsequently receives the data message. If the setting is not provided in the data store, the mobile device refrains from sending the fetch message.
