摘要: A dispenser for mixing foam precursor chemicals and dispensing the foamable mixture includes a first module containing shutoff valves and a second module containing a dispensing valve assembly. The dispensing valve assembly includes a valve body of a self-lubricating material and a valving rod which is reciprocatingly retracted in a valve passage of the valve body to uncover orifices which supply the precursor fluids into the valve passage, from which the mixed chemicals are dispensed. The dispensing valve assembly includes a die spring which urges a washer to compress the valve body along its axis to help prevent cold flow of the valve body away from the valving rod. The valving rod is scraped by inner surfaces of the hole in the washer through which the valving rod is retracted and extended. The die spring is preloaded and retained by a load cylinder which is fixed in the bore in the second housing which contains the dispensing valve.

摘要: A device for breaking glass, arranged to be mounted on a pane of a breakable substrate, and being actuatable to break the pane. In one embodiment, the device comprises a base, a plunger moveable relative the base and a pin extending from and axially moveable relative the plunger, wherein the plunger is moveable relative the base from a retracted to an extended position so when the base is placed against a first pane, a distal end of the pin strikes and breaks the first pane, and the pin is moveable relative the plunger from a retracted position to an extended position, with the plunger in its extended position, such that the distal end of the pin strikes and breaks a second pane parallel to the first pane. Preferably, the plunger and pin are biased to an extended position each by a biasing means.

摘要: Techniques for routing a payload of a first network protocol, which includes header information for a second network protocol, include communicating a packet. In a circuit block, a first type for the first network protocol and a second type for the second network protocol are determined. The circuit block stores a classification that indicates a unique combination of the first type and the second type. A general purpose processor routes the packet based on the classification. Processor clock cycles are saved that would be consumed in determining the types. Furthermore, based on the classification, the processor can store an offset value for aligning the header relative to a cache line. The circuit block can store the packet shifted by the offset value. The processor can then retrieve from memory a single cache line to receive the header, thereby saving excess loading and ejecting of cache.

摘要: Asphalt and elastomeric polymer compositions crosslinked with mixed polythiomorpholines or at least one alkyl polysulfide can give polymer modified asphalts (PMAs) with improved properties and/or reduced H2S evolution. When at least one alkyl polysulfide is used to completely or partially replace conventional crosslinkers such as S or MBT, mercaptobenzimidazole (MBI) may be optionally used as a co-crosslinker. The use of mixed polythiomorpholines as crosslinkers provide PMAs with better low temperature profiles (BBR m-values). The use of at least one alkyl polysulfide crosslinker gives PMAs with improved PAV-aged DSR results, and reduced H2S evolution. The use of at least one alkyl polysulfide crosslinker together with MBI may give PMAs with improved PAV DSR Fail Temperatures.
