摘要: Guidelines for designing lenses or systems for aerodynamic focusing of nanoparticle or cluster beams. The design process may involve obtaining a relationship between particle size, operating pressure and aperture size, and selecting the operating pressure to provide continuum flow of an aerosol beam through the aerodynamic lens. Particles having diameters less than 30 nanometer may be focused. Simulation techniques for evaluating designed lenses are also disclosed.

摘要: A system for measuring size segregated mass concentration of an aerosol. The system includes an electromagnetic radiation source with beam-shaping optics for generation of a beam of electromagnetic radiation, an inlet sample conditioner with adjustable cut-size that selects particles of a specific size range, and an inlet nozzle for passage of an aerosol flow stream. The aerosol flow stream contains particles intersecting the beam of electromagnetic radiation to define an interrogation volume, and scatters the electromagnetic radiation from the interrogation volume. The system also includes a detector for detection of the scattered electromagnetic radiation an integrated signal conditioner coupled to the detector and generating a photometric output, and a processor coupled with the conditioner for conversion of the photometric output and cut-size to a size segregated mass distribution.

摘要: A polymer injection method and apparatus for blocking piping in dikes and dams, uses non-water reacted two-component polymeric material to produce a hydra-insensitive expanding polymer for blocking piping channel. A transferring device is provided to the method, which includes an injection gun, an injector, and a hollow tube, wherein the injection gun connects with an entrance end of the hollow tube through the injector, and an outlet end of the hollow tube inserts into the entrance of the piping channel. The two components of the polymeric material are respectively transported to the injection gun, and are mixed and injected from the gun with high pressure, through the injector, to the hollow tube, and then pushed into the piping channel. Under the chemical reaction, the mixed material expands inside the receiver and becomes foamed solid from liquid, and then the polymer receiver inflates and blocks the piping channel quickly.

摘要: A directional fracture grouting method with polymer for seepage control of dikes and dams includes the steps of: arranging a plurality of directional fracture grouting holes at a predetermined distance along the axis of the dike or dam; forming the directional fracture grouting holes by pushing a special drilling tool; placing a hole-sealing grouting pipe and a fracture grouting pipe into each of the directional fracture holes; and injecting including the steps of firstly injecting a small amount of polymer material into the sealing-hole pipe, and secondly injecting predetermined amount of material into the fracture grouting pipe. Under the chemical reaction, the mixed material expands, fractures the soil along the guided directions, and forms a super thin polymer segment. Finally, the polymer segments are overlapped each other, and the seepage control system is constructed inside the dike or dam.

摘要: An introduction passage of rotary valve has outlets for feeding out refrigerant in a suction pressure zone toward each of compression chambers. A switch portion in a shutoff state shuts off a portion of the suction pressure zone within a compressor from the outlets of the introduction passage. The switch portion includes a valve body, a working pressure chamber, and a working pressure applying portion. The working pressure chamber introduces a working pressure that is applied to the valve body so as to arrange the valve body at a communication position. The pressure in the suction pressure zone acts against the pressure in the working pressure chamber through the valve body.

摘要: A solvent spun bamboo fiber with a high wet modulus and a producing method thereof are disclosed. The producing method includes: activating by adding a bamboo pulp into de-ionized water, adjusting the pH value, adding cellulase and adjusting the pH value by adding alkali; squeezing by vacuum dehydration; pre-dissolving by adding an aqueous solution containing 50-88% by mass of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide; then dissolving by putting the above pre-dissolved mixture into a dissolver, heating, vacuumizing, dehydrating, dissolving, homogenizing and defoaming; spinning by spraying through a spinneret and forming a bamboo fiber by dry-wet spinning; water washing; bleaching; oiling; and drying. The present method is simple to operate, free of industrial pollution, low energy consuming, and highly safe. The bamboo fiber produced by the present method not only keeps the natural physical and chemical properties of bamboo fiber, but also has a high wet modulus without harmful chemical residues.
