摘要: An electromagnetic fuel injection valve in an engine injects fuel by opening/closing a fuel flowing path with a valve element. A controller controls opening/closing of the fuel flowing path and changes magnetic force generated by a control coil driving the valve element so that the magnetic force is less during a valve open state-holding period than at an initial valve-opening time. The controller detects the voltage of a battery and applies the voltage fed from the battery to the control coil, while changing a time interval (Tc), for which current is passed through the control coil, based on the detected voltage, in order to change the magnetic force, without raising the voltage from the battery. The controller also detects increase/decrease of a pressing force on the valve element caused by fuel pressure and changes the time interval (Tc) accordingly.

摘要: In an electromagnetic fuel injector of an internal combustion engine, an electromagnetic coil for valve driving is to be wound on a bobbin, and the bobbin is constituted by a synthetic resin containing a filler having good heat conductivity. For example, the bobbin with the coil to be wound thereon is constituted by PPS containing iron oxide and/or alumina as a filler. Two types of electromagnetic coils different in characteristics are provided in the fuel injector. These coils are wound separately on one bobbin in an axial direction. Among them, one coil (hereinafter referred to as “first coil”) has a winding region near a movable unit with a valve element being the object of magnetic suction, and other-coil (hereinafter referred to as “second coil”) has a winding region away from the movable unit. The bobbin has a step difference of the outer diameter so that the bobbin outer diameter in the region with the second coil to be wound thereon is smaller than the bobbin outer diameter in the region with the first coil to be wound thereon, and the bobbin inner diameter has a step difference in that the bobbin inner diameter in the region with the first coil to be wound thereon is made large partially so as to secure an annular space to interpose a seal ring therein.

摘要: A fuel injection apparatus including a controller to output an injection time command signal and an opening movement time command signal to command an opening movement time from a closed state to an open state of an electromagnetic fuel injection valve and a control circuit, coupled to the controller, to change an electric current flowing in a coil of the electromagnetic fuel injection valve between when the electromagnetic fuel injection valve is closed and opened. The controller sends both the injection time command signal and the opening movement time command signal through the same signal line to the control circuit.

摘要: In an electromagnetic fuel injection valve for injecting fuel by opening/closing a fuel flowing path, including a valve seat, a valve element for opening/closing the fuel flowing path formed between the valve seat and the valve element, and a drive unit having at least one coil, for driving the valve element. The drive unit includes a first magnetomotive force generating device using the at least one coil and a second magnetomotive force generating device, the first magnetomotive force generating device and the second magnetomotive force generating device being composed so that the first magnetomotive force generating device generates and raises magnetomotive force at a larger rate of change in time in comparison with the second magnetomotive force generating device. A valve opening hold state is held by the second magnetomotive force generating device which uses a smaller current flow in comparison with the first magnetomotive force generating device.

摘要: A fuel injector is disclosed that has plural nozzle holes with the same cross-sectional shape and can individually set the flow rate of each nozzle hole. The fuel injector includes the plural nozzle holes, a seat section positioned upstream of the nozzle holes, a valve element that closes a valve when brought into contact with the seat section and opens the valve when separated from the seat section, and a circular cone tapered from an upstream end to a downstream end and provided with the seat section and an inlet opening of the nozzle holes. The plural nozzle holes have an identical shape and a shape of a cross-section of each of the nozzle holes is substantially out-of-round, the cross-section being perpendicular to a central axis of each of the nozzle holes. The cross-section of each of the nozzle holes is rotated around the central axis of each of the nozzle holes. A rotation angle of the cross-section is set in such a manner that a relationship between a conical surface of the circular cone and the rotation angle is different among at least two of the nozzle holes.

摘要: In a fuel injection device, a driving unit structure has a magnetic aperture, in which an inner diameter is gradually enlarged toward the mover side, provided in an inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. It is possible to reduce magnetic delay time upon valve opening from the supply of the electric current to the coil to the rise of magnetic flux and magnetic delay time upon valve closing from the stoppage of the electric current to the coil to reduction of magnetic flux, by providing a magnetic aperture in the inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. Thus it is possible to improve the dynamic responsiveness upon valve opening and valve closing.
