摘要: An occlusion compound of 2-nitroxymethyl-6-chloropyridine with .beta.-cyclodextrin is disclosed herein as well as a process for preparing the occlusion compound thereof. The occlusion compound of the present invention has a molar ratio of 2-nitroxymethyl-6-chloropyridine to .beta.-cyclodextrin of between about 1:1 and about 3:1. The present occlusion compound is nonvolatile, thereby overcoming the problems associated with the volatility of the 2-nitroxymethyl-6-chloropyridine for pharmacuetical preparations. The process of the present invention is carried out by reacting 2-nitroxymethyl-6-chloropyridine with .beta.-cyclodextrin either by kneading both compounds together with a small amount of a solvent or by mixing both compounds in an appropriate solvent, such as water. The occlusion compound is then precipitated, separated and further purified by conventional methods.

摘要: A mobile communication system includes terminals and a plurality of base stations that use scrambling codes to perform radio communication with the terminals. Each of the plurality of base stations transmits to neighboring base stations information of the range of scrambling codes for uplink that is reserved in its own station, and when determining the range of scrambling codes for uplink to be reserved in its own station, receives from neighboring base stations information of the ranges of scrambling codes for uplink reserved in the neighboring base stations.

摘要: Each of belt layers of a pneumatic radial tire includes a plurality of single steel wires with an identical wire diameter extending linearly in an identical direction in alignment with each other and embedded in rubber. Each of the wires is provided with axial torsion. On the outer surface of a tread portion, circumferential grooves extend in the circumferential direction of the tire. The wire diameters of the single steel wires are 0.28 mm to 0.38 mm. An average of intervals of the single steel wires is not less than 0.10 mm. The tire has an out-of-plane bending stiffness of not less than 6000N·mm2 per inch of length of the tread portion in the circumferential direction when a force application point is located at the circumferential groove. The implanted density E (wires/50 mm) of the single steel wires satisfies E≧1869×d2−1838×d+493, where d is the wire diameter.

摘要: A steel cord having a 1×2 construction formed by twisting two wire strands together is used as a reinforcing layer of a pneumatic tire. The steel cord has a carbon content of from 0.60 to 0.75%, a strength in the tire of from 2,900 to 3,500 MPa, and a twisting angle of from 1.5 to 3.0°. Therefore, productivity can be enhanced while fatigue resistance of the steel cord used in the reinforcing layer is maintained. Additionally, fatigue resistance of the steel cord is further enhanced due to the average value of the forming factor of the steel cord of this tire being set to from 95 to 105% and the standard deviation σ being set to from 5 to 20%. As a result, tire durability can be enhanced.
