Compositions comprising at least one conductive nanomaterial and at least one rheology control additive are disclosed. These compositions can be used to form a film for uses requiring sufficient conductivity and light transparency. Methods of forming a conductive composition include: providing at least one conductive nanomaterial, providing at least one rheology control additive, and blending the at least one conductive nanomaterial and the at least one rheology control additive together to form the conductive composition. Methods of forming patterned transparent conductive coatings include: providing and applying a layer comprising at least one photosensitive or photoimageable composition to a surface, providing and applying a layer comprising at least one conductive nanomaterial and at least one rheology control additive, exposing and developing the layered material, and treating the layer comprising the at least one rheology control additive in order to remove at least part of the rheology control additive. Coating compositions, films, patterned films and structures containing these films and patterned films are also described.

Heat sealable fluoropolymer-containing films and articles. More particularly, heat sealable films, tubes, packages, and other articles formed from a chlorotrifluoroethylene/vinylidene fluoride copolymer containing about 5% to about 25% vinylidene fluoride. The copolymers are capable of being formed into single or multilayer films that are heat sealable using conventional heat sealing methods while maintaining excellent clarity and moisture barrier properties.

Security films that are useful for pharmaceutical packaging. In particular, anti-counterfeiting security films having a luminescent composition on or in a fluoropolymer layer, which luminescent composition luminesces upon the application of ultraviolet radiation in the 200 nm to 300 nm range, in which the luminescent component is optionally and preferably not viewable to the unaided eye. The films are particularly useful for the formation of anti-counterfeiting blister packaging in compliance with FDA regulations.

Multilayered packaging films having good antifog performance that are suitable for use in food packaging. One multilayered film comprises at least one nylon layer having a silicone oil blended therein or coated on a surface thereof, and also comprises a barrier film that includes a sealant film having an antifog composition either contained within at least part of the sealant film or is coated on a surface of the sealant film. The silicone oil effectively blocks the migration of the antifog composition into an adjacent nylon layer when the multilayered film is stored in roll form.

A process for transferring a thin polymeric film to either woven or non-woven fabrics by first coextruding the thin polymeric film with a plastic support layer, then adhesively laminating the polymeric film to a fabric, followed by delaminating the support layer. The thin base layer remaining on the fabric imparts desired properties to the fabric while maintaining the soft feel, or drapeability, of the fabric, as opposed to lamination of thicker polymeric films to fabrics.
