摘要: An electric power supply system for a vehicle has an electric power line wired in a loop configuration. From the electric power line power is supplied to a load, and to another system which supplies control system power supply. One shutdown circuit is provided in a module connected to the loop configured power supply line. When the electric power line and the load are short circuited, the shutdown can isolate and shut down only the failure point. Further, when the car is not in use, by stopping the power supply to the load, current consumption can be restrained. In response to detection of a ground short and a failure of a connection of a connector, an over-current prevention of an electric power line, a simple construction can be provided and a low current consumption can be realized.

摘要: An operation input device of a vehicle capable of operating the vehicle by allowing an operation input into the vehicle even when an active reaction part (3) is not operated. In one embodiment of this invention, the device comprises an operation input part (1) receiving an operational force, the active reaction part (3) generating, against an applied operating force, a reaction by an electrical control in the operation input part (1), and an active reaction releasing part (4) opening a force transmission route between the active reaction part (3) and the operation input part (1).

摘要: To provide a headway control system, in which a congestion following processing can be started by the same operation as in ordinary driving. An arrangement is provided that lets a following control unit 10 to start a control to follow a preceding vehicle on condition that a characteristic value, which is produced in a host vehicle when a driver starts moving the host vehicle, is detected in congested traffic. Acceleration or a vehicle speed may be used as the characteristic value. Another possible arrangement is to start the following control on condition that a variation in an engine of the host vehicle, which is generated in the host vehicle when the driver operates to start moving the host vehicle, is detected in congested traffic. For example, the following control may be started under condition that at least either one of the following is detected: an increase in an engine speed, an increase in an intake pressure, an increase in an injection pulse width, an increase in an engine oil pressure, and an increase in the number of ignition pulses.

摘要: A battery is disposed at the portion beneath the rear seat of a vehicle. The positive electrode of the battery is connected through a power bus for power supply to a rear junction block (R-JB). A rear integration module (RIM) can be coupled to the R-JB through a plug-in operation. The positive electrode of the battery is also connected through a power bus to an under dash junction block (UD-JB). A body control module (BCM) can be coupled to the UD-JB through a plug-in operation. The power bus connection terminal of the UD-JB is connected to a fuse relay block (F-JB) through a power bus. A front integration module (FIM) can be coupled to the F-JB through a plug-in operation. The power bus connection terminal of the F-JB is connected to a starter motor through a power supply line and further connected to an alternator through a power supply line from the starter.

摘要: A vehicular travel control system performs automatic follow-up control for maintaining a following distance matching with drivability which a driver may feel. The system detects size of a leading vehicle and insolation around the own vehicle. An appropriate following distance deriving means derives the appropriate following distance so that the appropriate following distance becomes longer when the size of the leading vehicle detected by the vehicle size detecting means is large and the appropriate following distance becomes longer at higher brightness detected by the insolation detecting means.
