The system includes a sensor user interface (SUI) application coupled to the device. The SUI application is remote to the device and configured to use the layout data to generate display elements comprising a three-dimensional (3D) representation of the floor plan and the premises devices. The floor plan layout visually and separately indicates a location and a state of the premises devices. The state includes current state and historical state.
