摘要: A method is provided. The method is implemented by a mapping engine. The mapping engine includes processor executable code stored on a memory and executed by a processor. The method includes acquiring catheter trajectories in real-time during an ablation procedure and training a pre-trained neural network based on a dataset and the catheter trajectories to provide a trained neural network. The method includes approximating an atrium shape utilizing the trained neural network and portions of a catheter traversal path and generating a three-dimensional model output from the trained neural network and the atrium shape. The method also includes displaying the three-dimensional model output as an early visualization in the ablation procedure.

摘要: The disclosed technology includes a hemostasis valve assembly comprising an elongate body with a first valve disposed near the proximal end and a second valve disposed near the distal end and spaced apart from the first valve. The first valve can allow a member to extend through the first valve and the second valve can allow the member to extend through the second valve. The elongate body can define a cavity comprising a sloped portion including a first distance between an inner surface of the elongate body and the longitudinal axis near the distal end that is greater than a distance between the inner surface and the longitudinal axis near the proximal end such that a gas is directed along the sloped portion to accumulate at an accumulation region in the cavity near the distal end when a member extends through the first valve.

摘要: A medical apparatus includes a probe configured for insertion into a body of a patient and comprising an array of electrodes disposed along the probe and configured to contact tissue within the body. An electrical signal generator applies sequences of bipolar pulses over one or more trios of the electrodes, each trio including first, second and third neighboring electrodes, such that the second electrode is disposed between and adjacent to the first and third electrodes. While the probe contacts the tissue, the electrical signal generator applies the sequences of the bipolar pulses between the first and second electrodes during one or more first time intervals, and between the second and third electrodes during one or more second time intervals, and between the first and third electrodes during one or more third time intervals, wherein the first, second and third time intervals are mutually disjointed.

摘要: A virtual endoscopic view shows a surgical area and surrounding anatomy and may also show a position of a surgical instrument in use during a surgical procedure, allowing a surgeon to virtually view the surgical area when direct viewing or actual endoscopic views are incomplete, obstructed, or otherwise unavailable or undesirable. In order to render the endoscopic view, an IGS navigation system may be configured with an observer point and an observer orientation within 3-D space based upon user inputs. A user interface for defining these points allows a user to view a virtual endoscopic preview in real-time while providing inputs, thus improving the likelihood that the resulting virtual endoscopic view is as desired by the user; and reducing time spent redefining and reconfiguring the virtual endoscopic view. The virtual endoscopic preview may provide combinations of static and dynamic images to illustrate the spatial relationship of the provided inputs.

摘要: A method includes, receiving: (i) a selected three-dimensional (3D) section that has been ablated in a patient organ in accordance with a specified contour, and (ii) a dataset, which is indicative of a set of lesions formed during ablation of the selected 3D section. The selected 3D section is transformed into a two-dimensional (2D) map, and checking, on the 2D map, whether the set of lesions covers the specified contour.
