摘要: A metal-air cell has a first housing part and a second housing part that together form a cell housing. The metal-air cell includes a metal based anode and a layer-shaped air cathode and an electrolyte. The first housing part has at least one air passage opening. A layer-shaped air diffusor is disposed between the first housing part and the air cathode. A layer-shaped separator is arranged between the air cathode and the metal based anode. The layer-shaped air diffuser is air-permeable and has a first side facing the air cathode and a second side facing away from the air cathode, wherein the layer-shaped air diffuser has a hydrophobic coating on at least one of the sides.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a zinc-manganese dioxide cell includes applying a first electrical conductor to an electrically non-conductive substrate and applying a second electrical conductor to the electrically non-conductive substrate. The method further includes applying a layer-shaped negative electrode directly onto the first electrical conductor, applying a layer-shaped positive electrode directly onto the second electrical conductor, providing a layer-shaped separator, applying at least one electrolyte layer to the layer-shaped negative electrode and/or to the layer-shaped positive electrode and/or to the layer-shaped separator, and forming a stack of layers with the sequence negative electrode/separator/positive electrode. The negative electrode is formed of a paste comprising zinc powder (mercury free), electrode binder, and solvent and/or dispersant. The positive electrode is formed of a paste comprising manganese dioxide, conductive material for improving electrical conductivity, electrode binder, and solvent and/or dispersant.

摘要: A an energy storage cell includes an electrode-separator assembly comprising an anode, a cathode, and a separator in a form of a cylindrical winding having two terminal end faces and a winding shell. An anode current collector includes a first longitudinal edge, and a cathode current collector includes a first longitudinal edge. The energy storage cell also includes a tubular housing portion in which the cylindrical winding is aligned axially. An at least partly metallic contact element with a circular edge is in direct contact with and connected the first longitudinal edge of the anode current collector or the first longitudinal edge of the cathode current collector. The energy storage cell further includes an annular seal made of an electrically insulating material that surrounds the circular edge of the contact element. The contact element together with the seal closes a terminal circular opening of the tubular housing portion.

摘要: A battery module with air cooling capability that includes at least two battery blocks; the battery blocks each include a plurality of cylindrical round cells arranged in corresponding receptacles of a cell holder, wherein longitudinal axes of the cylindrical round cells lie parallel to one another; air passage openings are provided in the cell holders, through which air can flow through the battery blocks in parallel to the longitudinal axes of the round cells; the battery blocks are stacked on one another with spacing so that a stack intermediate space results between adjacent battery blocks in the stack; a housing, including the stack made up of the battery blocks, wherein the stack is spaced apart from walls of the housing so that two terminal free spaces result between terminal battery blocks of the stack and the walls; the housing has at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet; a fan is assigned to the battery module to generate an airflow between the air inlet and the air outlet, and guiding means that ensure that the airflow is guided starting from at least one stack intermediate space between two adjacent battery blocks through the air passage openings in the cell holders between the cylindrical round cells of the individual battery blocks and through the terminal free spaces in a direction of the air outlet.

摘要: A button cell includes a housing having a cell cup with a flat bottom area and having a cell top with a flat top area. The button cell also includes an electrode-separator assembly winding disposed within the housing. The electrode-separator assembly winding includes a multi-layer assembly that is wound in a spiral shape about an axis. The multi-layer assembly includes a positive electrode formed from a first current collector coated with a first electrode material, a negative electrode formed from a second current collector coated with a second electrode material, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The button cell further includes a winding core around which the multi-layer assembly is wound. The winding core provides a contact pressure on a first metal foil output conductor in an axial direction to facilitate electrical contact between the first metal foil output conductor and the housing.
