    摘要： A decontaminating composition and delivery system therefor. The decontaminating composition is prepared by combining a "per-salt", an activator for hydrogen peroxide which effects free radical formation, both of which are in a dry form and an aqueous solution comprised of a nonvolatile alcohol and a surface active agent. The "per-salt" of the present invention is a basic water-soluble salt such as percarbonate, perborate, persilicate or perphosphate which releases hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solution. While not true per-salts in the strict chemical sense, they are otherwise conventional salts containing hydrogen peroxide of crystallization which is released in aqueous solution. The decontaminating composition and delivery system comprise a dispenser containing, in separate compartments, the various components as aforesaid which are thoroughly mixed prior to being dispensed onto the surface to be treated.

    摘要： A litter bag is provided for isolating a casualty from a contaminated environment. The litter bag includes a collapsible access chamber mounted over an aperture in the bag whereby personnel may have immediate and direct access to the casualty. The access chamber is formed with tubular passages which may be filled with a gas to expand the chamber from a collapsed position to form a semi-rigid structure.

    摘要： Treatment of casualties enclosed in garments which protect them from a contaminated environment comprises attaching treatment apparatus containing uncontaminated treatment space to the protective garment and then effecting communication between the treatment space and the interior of the garment. The treatment apparatus comprises a generally rectangular enclosure having an access opening on one side with fastener means provided for closing the access opening. The fastener means are compatible with at least a portion of the fastener means for the protective garment to permit coupling the enclosure to the garment and then communicating the treatment space with the interior of the garment. The treatment apparatus includes an observation window opposite to the fastener device and sealed gloved openings to permit manipulation by treating personnel within the intercoupled treatment space and the interior of the garment. Provision is made in the treatment apparatus for the storage of various instruments, equipment and medication for use in treating casualties in the field.
