摘要:
The present invention relates to peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and cells for use in immunotherapeutic methods. In particular, the present invention relates to the immunotherapy of cancer. The present invention furthermore relates to tumor-associated T-cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumor-associated peptides that can for example serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions that stimulate anti-tumor immune responses, or to stimulate T cells ex vivo and transfer into patients. Peptides bound to molecules of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), or peptides as such, can also be targets of antibodies, soluble T-cell receptors, and other binding molecules.

A DNA plasmid useful for diagnostic and therapeutic gene therapy is disclosed. Improvements to gene therapy methods known in the art are provided to ensure cancer-targeting, high efficacy, and long durability of expression. The DNA plasmid is combined with compositions of polymeric nanoparticles for non-viral gene therapy to treat cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma and prostate cancer.

The present invention relates generally to a method of treating a neoplastic condition. More particularly, the present invention is directed to a method of selectively sensitising neoplastic cells prior to chemotherapy. The method of the present invention is predicated on administering chemotherapy treatment subsequently to neoplastic cell sensitisation via the exposure of these cells to an activin type 1 B receptor (ACVR1B) antagonist. The present findings have now enabled the development of a new neoplastic treatment regime exhibiting both higher efficacy and reduced side effects for patients and, still further, a means of effectively treating chemoresistant neoplasms.
摘要:
The present invention relates to methods, combinations and pharmaceutical compositions for treating or preventing a hemolytic disease or condition in a mammal, wherein: said hemolytic disease or condition is caused by an attack of said mammal's red blood cells by said mammal's own body, or said mammal is a pregnant mammal and said hemolytic disease or condition of a fetus of said pregnant mammal is caused by an attack of said fetus' red blood cells by an antibody of said pregnant mammal, or said mammal is a baby and said hemolytic disease or condition of said baby is caused by an attack of said baby's red blood cells by an antibody of said baby's mother. The exemplary hemolytic diseases or conditions include hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, an autoimmune disease or condition, or a hereditary hemolytic disease or disorder.
摘要:
Dosing regimens, methods of treatment, controlled release formulations, and combination therapies that include an HDAC inhibitor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, are described.

This invention provides novel methods and compositions for modulating and stimulating the immune system of animals to withstand microbial infections and the lethality of endotoxic shock by feeding or injecting bacteria-free oligoribonucleotides (ORNs) released by either harmless or pathogenic bacteria. The invention also describes the molecular mode of action of the health benefits derived from consuming fermented dairy products and probiotic bacteria.

The invention provides immunostimulatory compositions comprising an aggregate immunostimulatory amount ofa) a compound associated with the synthesis of polyamines,b) a nucleobase source,c) omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, andd) omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acidsthe use of such compositions and their manufacture.
摘要:
Novel derivatives of monophosphoryl lipid A and a process for their preparation are provided. The derivatives contain one or more free groups, such as an amine, on a side chain attached to the primary hydroxyl groups of the monophosphoryl lipid A nucleus through an ester group. The derivatives provide a convenient method for coupling the lipid A through coupling agents to various biologically active materials, substrates, and the like, wherein the immunostimulant properties of lipid A are desired.
