Abstract: Helmets for applying a magnetic field to the head of a subject, comprising: a housing comprising a concave surface configured to receive a portion of the head of the subject; a motor coupled to one or more of: a first permanent magnet via a first axle along a first axis of rotation, wherein the first axle drives movement of the first magnet; a second magnet via a second axle along a second axis of rotation wherein the second axle drives movement of the second magnet; and a third magnet via a third axle along the third axis of rotation wherein the third axle drives movement of the third magnet, wherein the axes are parallel; and a fit mechanism comprising a adjuster coupled to the first magnet, wherein movement of the adjustor moves the first magnet independently of the second or the third magnet.

Abstract: A system and method for providing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) based on electroencephalogram (EEG) data. The system and method may include a portable neuro-electroencephalogram synchronization therapy (NEST) system for capturing EEG data from a patient. The system and method may also include an electrophysiology database and customized TMS treatment system for receiving the EEG data from the portable NEST system. The electrophysiology database and customized TMS treatment system may determine a TMS treatment based on the received EEG data. The portable NEST system may provide synchronized TMS based on the determined TMS treatment.

Abstract: The present invention is directed generally to eukaryotic cells comprising single-celled organisms that are introduced into the eukaryotic cell through human intervention and which transfer to daughter cells of the eukaryotic cell, and methods of introducing such single-celled organisms into eukaryotic cells. The invention provides single-celled organisms that introduce a phenotype to eukaryotic cells that is maintained in daughter cells. The invention additionally provides eukaryotic cells containing magnetic bacteria. The invention further provides eukaryotic cells engineered with single-celled organisms to allow for multimodal observation of the eukaryotic cells. Each imaging method (or modality) allows the visualization of different aspects of anatomy and physiology, and combining these allows the imager to learn more about the subject being imaged.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device and a method for the stimulation of nerve and muscle cells according to the principle of magnetic stimulation, wherein the invention has a significantly reduced sound emission for the same stimulus intensity when compared to the prior art. The sound emission in the form of a click noise, which, in the magnetic stimulation, determines on the one hand an important safety risk and on the other hand causes an undesired, uncontrollable sensory-auditory brain stimulation is reduced in the present invention by increasing the frequency of a substantial portion of the spectrum of the pulse, preferably up to or beyond the human hearing range. The invention further relates to a quieter coil technology which reduces the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical-acoustic oscillations, prevents the transfer of said oscillations to the surface by resilient decoupling and instead converts the mechanical-acoustic energy via viscoelastic deformation of the material into heat.

Abstract: A magnetic resonator is provided which has a support structure and a plurality of roller assemblies mounted thereto for rotation about respective axes of rotation which are generally parallel one to another. Drive means are coupled to the roller assemblies to rotate each of the roller assemblies about its respective axis of rotation relative to the support structure. Each roller assembly houses a plurality of magnets disposed along respective axes of the roller assemblies. The plurality of magnets are grouped in a plurality of first and second arrangements with a first arrangement being interspersed between a pair of second arrangements. At least one of the first and second arrangements incorporates a pattern or shape based on sacred geometry.
