摘要: A method of producing plant milk enable batch production and may be implemented in a system of low complexity. The method comprises introducing water, plant material and one or more enzymes into a mixing chamber of a mixing unit; operating the mixing unit to generate a slurry that comprises the water, the plant material and the one or more enzymes; transferring the slurry from the mixing unit to a separation unit, which separates the slurry into a liquid component and a sludge component; transferring the liquid component into the mixing chamber of the mixing unit; adding vegetable oil to the liquid component; and operating the mixing unit to produce, in the mixing chamber, plant milk that comprises the vegetable oil and the liquid component.

摘要: A method for producing a suspension, wherein plant parts are comminuted in portions and mixed with water so that the water and the plant parts form the suspension, and a pomace remaining from the plant parts is separated from the suspension. A device for producing a suspension, the device including a mixing chamber and a mixing element in the mixing chamber for mixing a portion of comminuted plant parts with water so that the water and the plant parts form the suspension, and an outlet on the mixing chamber for letting the suspension out of the mixing chamber so that a pomace remaining from the plant parts is retained in the mixing chamber. In order to accelerate production, the plant parts are mashed to a pulp while the water is pressed at a positive pressure through the pulp and through a filter which retains the pomace.

摘要: The present invention describes a heated auger assembly and method for applying powder or liquid, such as efficacious concentrations of DCD, to a substrate granule, such as granular urea. The heated auger assembly includes a mixing auger comprising a first and second end, and at least one of a heat applicator. The method of applying powder and/or liquid raw material to a substrate granule includes heating the substrate granules in a pre-heater, such as a fluidized bed, then discharging the heated substrate granules from the pre-heater into a heated auger assembly, which applies heat to the substrate granules, facilitating the coating of the substrate granules with the powder and/or liquid raw material.

摘要: An inline static mixer includes an outer tube and an inner tube positioned inside the outer tube and arranged coaxially with respect to the outer tube with a space between the inner and outer tubes. The inner tube is operable to receive and convey a hydrocarbon stream and the outer tube is operable to receive and convey a diluent stream. At least one baffle extends from the inner tube toward the outer tube and through at least a portion of the space that is operable to generate a twisted diluent flow from the diluent stream. The twisted diluent flow and the hydrocarbon stream are mixed downstream of an outlet of the inner tube with the twisted diluent flow forming a boundary layer along an internal surface of the outer tube to minimize fouling from liquid or liquid droplets of the hydrocarbon stream after mixing.

摘要: In accordance with one embodiment, a method is provided that includes providing a liquid nitrogen storage system configured to cool a supply of liquid nitrogen to a temperature below the vapor point of liquid nitrogen; coupling a piping system with the liquid nitrogen storage system to convey a portion of the supply of liquid nitrogen from the liquid nitrogen storage system; coupling the piping system with a liquid nitrogen control valve configured to control a flow of liquid nitrogen to at least one liquid nitrogen dispensing head; disposing the at least one liquid nitrogen dispensing head above a conveyance device operable to convey an aggregate stream of a concrete batching plant during use; and disposing the at least one liquid nitrogen dispensing head in a position to dispense an output flow of liquid nitrogen onto the aggregate stream of the concrete batching plant during use.
