    摘要: Since Thomas Edison invented the magnetic roller separator for concentrating nickel mineral, drum and roller type separators have become the most common magnetic separators. These devices can be constructed with permanent magnets or with electromagnets, and the drum separator can operate with a dry or wet supply. However, still today, strongly magnetic material detaching from the roller is a problem that has been tried to be resolved by introducing the magnets inside the cylinders, in only one area thereof, in such a way that when the material is rotated on the cylinder and moves away from the magnetised area, it falls as a result of gravity. This system has a highly complex structure. The invention uses novel and powerful, very small neodymium magnets to cover the entire surface of the roller. In this way, a small device with a larger yield is produced in a very simple and economic manner. The particulate material to be separated is supplied over a plastic piece covering the magnetic roller that is in contact with same only over a fraction of the circumference, such that when the plastic piece moves away from the magnetic roller, the material falls as a result of gravity and is separated from the rest by means of a deflector.

    摘要: A magnetic separation device, comprising: a separator, including a top base and a bottom base; at least a groove set, each composed of two arc-like grooves having curvatures opposite to each other; at least a magnetic member, being movably fitted inside the two arc-like grooves of the at least one groove set; and at least a test tube slot, each being formed at the outer rim of a base selected from the group consisting of the top and the bottom base of the separator; wherein the top and the bottom bases are assembled by means of a pivotal axis piecing through about at the center of the top and the bottom bases for enabling the two bases to rotate relative to each other; and one of the two arc-like groove is formed on the top base at a surface thereof facing toward the bottom base while forming another arc-like groove on the bottom base at a surface thereof facing toward the top base. With the aforesaid device, the magnetic member can be driven to slide inside the groove set while the top and the bottom bases are driven to rotate relative to each other, thereby, the magnetic member can be moved between two positions whereas one is near the test tube slot and the other is away from the same.

    摘要: A device is provided to separate magnetic or magnetizable particles from a liquid by using a magnetic field. The device includes two limbs made of a soft-magnetic material. An air gap is provided between be two poles of the limbs. The air gap can receive one or more liquid containers. A head piece is arranged in a fixed or detachable manner on one of the two poles. One or more magnetizable bars are disposed in a fixed or movable manner on the head piece, in the vertical direction. One or more permanent magnets are arranged in a movable manner on at least one point of the device, such that a magnetic field can be produced between the two poles and the magnetic field can be activated or deactivated by moving the magnet(s). The region of the device where the movable magnet(s) are arranged is at least partially surrounded by a material that screens the magnetic field.

    摘要: The invention is a novel automated apparatus for optically inspecting both sides of manufactured components for manufacturing defects. The invention can be used to inspect either ferrous or non-ferrous components. The apparatus comprises a first and a second rotable disc and either a first and a second nonrotable magnet or a first and second nonrotable vacuum plenum. The first rotable disc rotates in a first direction and the second rotable disc rotates in a second direction. Components are either magnetically held to each disc or held by vacuum. At a transfer station, a bottom surface of the second rotable disc partially overlaps a top surface of the first rotable disc, and components are transferred from the first rotable disc to the second rotable disc.

    摘要: A gravity-magnetic ore separator for concentrating magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals having a relatively high specific gravity is disclosed. The ore separator utilizes codirectional magnetic and gravitational forces to achieve separation capabilities in excess of that which can be achieved using gravity forces alone. Typically, the gravity-magnetic ore separator is formed by retrofitting a conventional gravity separator such as a spiral, cone, pinched sluice, etc. with magnets so as to enhance the separation capability of the conventional gravitational ore separator. Means are provided to prevent build up of magnetic material on the surface over which the ore flows.
