    摘要: A method of providing a wear-resistant layer on the inner bore faces of the housing of a dual-worm extruder having two longitudinally communicating parallel bores for accommodating extruder worms therein. According to the method, a relatively soft sheet metal blank and a relatively hard, wear-resistant sheet metal blank are metallurgically bonded to one another in a face-to-face relationship, then the thus obtained "sandwich" is deformed into two longitudinally open tubular blanks, with the relatively soft sheet metal blank forming the outer, convex side of each tubular blank. Thereafter, the tubular blanks are welded to one another along respective longitudinal edges thereof for obtaining a composite body having a cross-sectional outline of a FIG. 8, generally corresponding to, but being smaller than the cross-sectional outline of the bores. Then the composite body is introduced into the housing in a substantially coaxial relationship with the bores, and an explosive is placed in the space surrounded by the composite body and the explosive is ignited for effecting a plating of the inner bore faces with the composite body.

    摘要: A method for making an 8-shaped hole in a bimetallic sleeve, including the steps of preparing two bimetallic tubes, each tube having substantially the same dimension; and also preparing a rear sleeve part, and a front sleeve part; fixing each tube with a plurality of clamping blocks having openings on one side; moving each clamped bimetal tube to a thread cut machine, adjusting the spindle of the thread cut machine to move parallel to the openings on one side of the clamping blocks, and then cutting the clamped tube to form a tube of C-shaped cross section; detaching said tube of C-shaped cross section from said plurality of clamping blocks, and clamping two of said tube of C-shaped cross section together with two fixtures having an 8-shaped cross section; applying spot welding at joints of said two tubes of C-shaped cross section for 6-8 spots to form an 8-shaped hole bushing, and then detaching said two fixtures of 8-shaped cross section; heating the rear sleeve part in a heating furnace for 3-5 hours to reach a temperature of 300-400° C. and a thermal expansion of 0.3-0.5 mm, and then inserting the 8-shaped bushing into the expanded rear sleeve part; and fastening the front sleeve part to the rear sleeve part.

The first and second barrel pad co-operating to define a recess configured to receive an extruder liner. The length of the first and second barrel pad is less than the length of the extruder liner such that the extruder liner defines an end surface that projects beyond the extruder barrel section on at least one side. The end surface is configured to abut the end surface of another extruder liner. The extruder barrel section further comprises of a locking structure configured to lock the first barrel pad to the second barrel pad with the extruder liner therebetween.

    摘要: A backflow blocking arrangement is for an injection unit of an injection molding machine having a plasticising screw with a front end for carrying the backflow blocking arrangement. The arrangement has a screw tip, a blocking bush and a blocking sleeve each with a base body material. The screw tip has friction surfaces and the blocking bush and the blocking sleeve each have sealing and friction surfaces. At least one of the friction and sealing surfaces is formed by a protective layer made of a fusion metallurgical compound of the base body material plus an additive. The additive is any one or more of a metal, a carbide, a carbonitride, a boride, a carboboride, a silicide, a sulfide or an oxide. The screw tip includes a mixed layer between its base body material and its outer layer, that includes the additive. The mixed layer is thinner than the outer layer and both the outer layer and the mixed layer include base body material in specific proportions with the additive. The outer layer and mixed layer are made from metallic mixed crystals and chemical compounds which contain material of the base body and the additive.
